I changed the time to am/pm but it's still be used as 24hr with store hours and in game conversation and letters

Can confirm that this is true for me as well -- setting the time to AM/PM only affects the in-game clock, but things like the reminders for heart events still say 16:00 - 20:00.

Pretty much all of the heart event reminders aren't respecting the formatting specified in preferences. Store hours are fine for me, and I'll keep an eye on in-game conversations. My letters haven't been getting saved to the journal (which I think is another known issue?) so I can't double-check those.
