Tools Degraded from Silver to Bronze

idk either, all my tools were suddenly goes to inventory too
what you can try to do is loading backup, and go to the previous day

Do you only have one save? Have you been struck by the duplicate bug? Can you roll back a day as Sal suggests.

Same things happened to me. My inventory was changed to have items I didn't even remember, and all of my tools got degraded (osmium to gold, silver to bronze, bronze to basic)

I’m having the same issue. Except my silver and bronze tools all went to basic. I also have items in my inventory that I haven’t had in a while, like Jim’s photo which I returned to him over an in-game month ago. I did try accessing previous saves but they don’t come up for me when I follow the instructions. Even tried restarting both the game and my computer after changing the settings.

In fact, all of my tools were back to default. I tried going back to a backup from a day ago and it was the same. I think it's a bug after today's update. I will be very sad if my tools are not back to normal.😫

Just wanted to add I have also experienced this D: I had all bronze, and they're now all basic.

Can confirm loading a previous save/backup save did not work.

The last thing you can try is searching if there are tools in one of your chests, by accessing the manual cooking in the kitchen

and well :( lets hope this can be patched soon

Same here! Some of my tools degraded to silver and I got things that I didn't have in my backpack 😭 I don't think I saved it since I closed the game the second I noticed something wrong but steam did sync to the cloud…
