Just unlocked my underwater farm and starting farming. I noticed on day 4 when I went to 'water' my plants that a good portion had disappeared. If I 'water' the blank spot with my lumina wand, a little purple sprout appears, which doesn't match the sprout that was initially planted there. It was such an odd phenomenon that I tested using my hoe on a blank space and then using the lumina wand and sure enough, a little purple sprout appeared even though nothing was ever planted there before. So...is this a bug or do underwater crows exist and that's why I have plants disappearing??? What's with the purple sprout thing? Help!

The purple sprouts were in the beta also.

The purple thing is (afaik) the animation for the tile getting lit by the wand
(Bc it was around entire beta iirc)
As for crops disappearing - do you have scarecrows protecting them? If not that’s why they’d disappear

I think the purple bit is to show that the tile has been watered. It shows when using the light sprinklers too.

This is only happening with the underwater crops. Can you confirm whether this is normal and there's a crowlike mechanic for the underwater crops? And if so do the regular scarecrows work underwater?

Yes, the purple thing is normal & yes, there is ‘crows’ (otters iirc?) for underwater & yep any scarecrows you have can be placed on either farm to do their job
