Is anyone else having issues with Wakuu's 10 heart event? I've seen all of the previous ones, and he's definitely at 10 hearts; I don't have the proper house upgrade, but that wasn't an issue with Mark's 10 heart event. Can you only trigger one at a time? Is it a bug? The wiki doesn't list any specific requirements...

10 heart events usually have invitation letters (some npcs don't require a letter). I got Mark and Wakuu 10 heart events at the same time during my polyamorous playthrough.
For cross-checking; what was the last scene you saw with Wakuu?

I see. Some people have reported Wakuu's 10 hearts in the coral-bugs channel. To make sure, there are several things you can do to trigger the invitation letter.
Try giving him gifts twice a week, or try to get another npc 10 hearts - it'll somehow let the letter slip in altogether.
On the sidenote; the game won't recognize 10 hearts if an npc reached 10 hearts via temple offering / town rank increase. This is based on my previous playthrough with Yuri, Mark, and Theo. Also, there is a chance the event conflicts with festival during certain weeks.

ahh okay, thank you; i think i did hit 10 hearts with him via a temple offering! would continuing to give him gifts trigger it eventually once the game recognizes 10 hearts?

Hopefully it will. I have bad luck with those three though; had to restart everything (luckily have EA save of my own). Getting other npc to 10 heart letter could increase the chance. There are no repercussions for having multiple romance atm, fortunately.

I’m so glad it’s not just me having this issue! I’m seeing on here and in multiple threads other people are having the same issue and it looks like it’s a known bug that the developers are working on thankfully!
I was totally bummed since he’s my fave romance option so I’ve resorted to flirting with others and same as you mentioned with Mark, had no issue triggering Macy’s 10 heart event in the mean time while I’ve waited for his to show up.
