#Multiple Save Files - How Does it Work?

Hi, sorry if this has been asked. I've searched this part of the Discord and on the internet and it's still unclear to me how multiple saves work in this game. Will the game make a new save file EACH TIME you start a new game and you'll see each file when you go to the load screen? (I was under the impression it would just overwrite the same file over and over again with every new game.)

Also, I assume that if that's how it works, it only creates a separate save file for the game once and it's not like you can save to a different file like you can in a console game, for example while mid dungeon before the final boss quick create a separate save before heading in kind of situation (or saving in Coral island right before you propose to someone just in case they reject you so you can reload the game might be a better example LOL and no that's not what I'm trying to do). Thanks for any help in advance!

So you can have up to 99 saves. If you don't have NG+ then you just make new games. Save on sleep and go play a new file.

Ok I'm back. I don't have a screenshot but just like how your first file looks, it just stacks with your most recent played on top.

So I have 10 files for 10 characters with 10 different names doing 10 different things married to 10 different people if I want to.

Good to know it doesn't overwrite your other save if you start a new game.
Is there a way to duplicate the save files at all?
