It is winter in my game, and my animals got neutral pretty past. I had 4 coop animals in a lvl 1 coop for a while. I had the heater since before winter started so they shouldn't be upset about that. I also upgraded the co-op but they are all still neutral.
Any ideas or suggestions? Or is it a bug maybe? Since it is winter I can't let them outside, what do I do?

Mine were all happy inside during winter do you have the upgraded hay maybe? I don’t know what else would cause them to still be neutral

Are you still interacting with them everyday? Making sure they have food?

i don't know how it works officially but for me, all of my animals were "neutral" until i upgraded the coop/barn they lived in. could be a bug, could have just been messed up in my game, but if you can't solve it any other way then the upgrade might be worth a shot

I'm pretty sure you have to have barn/coop level 2 to get them to "Happy" instead of Neutral.

If so, it's one that pretty much everyone has. As I've never seen anyone report in that they had "Happy" animals in rank 1 enclosures.

It can still be a bug if everyone has it. And in beta it was said to be a bug.
Unfortunately I did not check my animal happiness in coop 1, so I can't testify.

Things can and have changed from Beta to 1.0 though. I don't think this is a bug anymore, though, I do not work for Stairway, so I cannot say for certain, just that, from everything we've seen, upgrading pretty much instantly makes them happy.

That's exactly what happened in beta and community rep said it is not supposed to do that.

Weird. Can't speak to that, as again, I don't work for Stairway, I just help where I can.

Like I said, I did not check it myself, so I need to rely on others. Currently my buildings are lvl 2
