So it crashed on me once when I was teleporting to my farm, once when I was just clearing the ocean, once when I walked out of the blacksmith, once when I was just walking around town. It's like the game crashes on me every other or third day, and I'm thinking about quitting because I played for an in game year in early access and it was fine, but now it's really really bad. I haven't had a game crash on me so much since... I don't know, like ever.

I had the same problem, been playing games for almost 30 years and have never experienced so many crashes or bugs. Loving the game but I've had to set it down for the time being, game is unplayable on series S and I'm not sure how it was released in this bad of shape...

Sure, I've been having crashes during the following times.
opening inventory or menu (frequent)
entering buildings and shops (frequent)
attempting to go to bed for the day (frequent)
fast traveling out of the merfolk kingdom (happened twice so I stopped using the shrine)
entering or leaving the diving area (happened twice , not as frequent as the crashes I listed above)
crashes during stuttering while walking though town or from area to area (frequent)
random crashes walking around my farm / cavern area
crashes during or after every single festival (I've given up on playing festivals as I've tried 20+ times and have yet to complete any of them due to crashes)
Unfortunately I've had to put the game down as my game crashes all the time even with avoiding 50% of the ingame content...

Okay so I have 8 hours in game according to steam, I'm on the last day of spring, and I've had my game crash 5 times overall.
Only one crash has lead to the error message that I've sent above, one other time the game just froze on me, and all other times it just crashed me straight into desktop.
The one time it froze on me was after I teleported to my farm using the cave shrine.
Other scenarios were
My specs are:
RTX 3060Ti
Ryzen 7 3800x
32 GB of DDR 4 ram
playing on 1080p in the default setting the game gave me (pretty much everything on highest I think)

Yeah if I manage to get the same crash relatively early in the day sure, I'm not really into, you know, wasting like 20 minutes of game time to crash the game at late evening 😅
I haven't had a "same" crash twice though, so it's not like I can avoid a specific thing, they just "happen".
But yeah if I find a crash that happens early and can be repeated I'll record it and send it here
