I need Hard Wood to upgrade past silver, but I don’t know HOW to unlock the forest. I’m in Winter (year 1) do I just go through another year and seasons to finish the tribute things?

i think u can get hardwood from chopping on fallen trees in your farm. also you can update a skill if im not mistaken to get more hardwood. but i guess its best tp upgrade all tools (for the sake of hardwood then yes, upgrade the axe first)

I currently have 1 price of hardwood and NO IDEA how I got it. But everything is taking 3-4 swings to clear now.

yes it spawns randomly when chopping up tree, thats why try to find fallen trees (they usually give me most hardwood) also choose a skill on farming (if im not mistaken) and get the more chances of getting hardwood. do you have bombs available rn? or the recipe to make it? you can get easier hardwoods by blowing up trees too

I do! I use them mostly when mining but I’ll try to use them on the trees.

you can get hardwood by blowing up trees so hope that makes it easier!

Blow up what’s on your farm and then 6 completed bundles to the altar will unlock the mid forest where you only need a silver axe to chop. 14 bundles for the larger forest with more hardwood and rank B to purchase from the carpenter.
