My chickens egg spawned too close to the door and there is no way to pick it up 😭 I've been trying to for like 10 min. Will it despawn eventually? Or do I just have an egg to taunt me forever?

this happened to me before too, I just tried to see if I can pick it up everyday and after a few in game days I was able to pick it up, Hopefully you can pick it up after a few days too

go to the left side of the egg- and very slowly move your mouse to the right. it'll give you the pick up option

Hi so I just found this out but use the pickaxe around it and it will pick up the egg, kind of how it allows you to move objects but it helps out a lot ☺️

don't stand right beside the egg, instead, 2-4 tiles away. It should be collectable then.

My trick is to turn my back on the egg then move the cursor slowly until the pick up action pops up
