I got mail from Scott asking to meet at the bar but I lost track of time diving and when I went he had already left and was walking back home. Tried to go the next night to see if it would trigger but it didn’t 😔 have I missed this event forever now?

Another thing to check is whether you've triggered all required cutscenes before. If - to use a random number - a mail event requires five hearts, but you haven't seen the previous event, you will still get the mail at five hearts but the scene won't trigger.

Has anyone actually triggered that event with Scott, though? I was thinking it might be something that comes with the next update, because I have him at eight hearts and have seen all his events but can't get that one to trigger.

I have almost everyone on the island at 8 hearts and haven't gotten heart events, just cutscenes. I'm hoping for an expansion in the next update.

?? The cutscenes are the heart events. Dating etc isn’t in right now and wouldn’t be available until after 8+ hearts anyway

I did a check on wiki which is pretty up to date on the heart events
It seems that Scott is up to five heart cutscene atm?
Also @spark wren - heart events refer to the cutscenes specifically triggered by reaching a certain number of hearts with a character. They're the ones related to the character's personal storyline.
