Assuming you mean fruit plants? Yeah, they usually have two seasons they grow and produce in. :'D Sorry.
Actual fruit trees - when they're implemented - will live forever but only produce fruit during a specific season.

Banana is a fruit plant, so it only lasts 2 seasons. No fruit trees are currently implemented.
