My sheep don't produce wool every 2 days consistently

Is there any known reason this could be besides malnourishment or a bug? I'm not sure if they produce faster or slower than intentional, but they keep desyncing (first time they'll all give wool on the same day, next time only half of them, etc.) I always feed them and never pet any of them, they're all full hearts

As far as I know like in other farming sim games, your animals will get mad at you if you don't feed them or pet them. In doing so, they will not produce products for you. It could be like that in Coral Island.

I haven’t pet any max hearts animal in years though and no other animals show this behaviour. They’re always fed
