Hello everyone! I was wondering if any of you have this problem where the chickens (4) lays 3 eggs instead. At first, I thought it was my fault for not feeding them in time/making them happy, but I don't think that is the case because I keep them in check, especially after this problem. Plus, I made another save and it does the same thing. At first, they were laying 4, but after a few days, 1 of the chicken just stopped laying eggs. There's an imposter chicken in my coop.

hmm i have ever encountered this problem and i heard also from some of players that this might be a bug that can be fixed with selling all your chickens and buy it again.
but i actually don’t know for sure why this is happened. but i heard it’s because you probably feed them late or forgot to feed them or something like that. cmiiw

Hello dextoria! Thank you for the response since my ocd is eating up to me lol. I searched up some past questions related to this so I'm glad I'm not the only one (though I'm not glad that this is happening 😂). I am pretty confident that I did not miss a day in feeding the chickens since in my new save, they were around 4 days old and I was pampering them so I don't think that's the cause.
I'll be sure to sell them and rebuy them when I have the cash to see what will happen!

hey, yea you’re welcome. i actually feel like i never feed them late, like i always make sure their food place is packed but yea then again idk for sure for the cause this to be happened but i guess from that moment i just try to call my chickens early in the morning around 6-7am with the full fodder inside the coop to prevent this problem happen again to me haha

It has happened to me before. Usually it gets rectified the next day. It did not happened regularly so I thought it may be part of the game system.
