#Scroll for tools stuck

I play on Steam and I use my scroll wheel to switch between tools on my hot bar and some reason just today I noticed its gotten stuck twice. I cant scroll, I cant hit the button to switch tools, Im stuck using the 8 slot to use anything. anyone else have this issue?

If you click a food item but dont click yes or no it may do this

I have had this issue for a while. It usually resolves itself eventually. To bypass it, I click [ I ] to pull up the main menu, and then I just move whatever tool/item I need to the active space until it reactivates. It’s a bit of a pain, but better than quitting the game entirely. If you restart the game, it also seems to fix it too!

Happens mostly when selecting "no" on the gift or eat pop up
You can put in a sword/tool in that slot and swing it to free it up. does not work all the time.
Eating something from that slot does resolve it.
