Sai 2 is great if you have issues making straight lines since the lineart layer options let you edit lines after doing them

I use Krita! It's basically if you took photoshop and made it free and also not suck. It's definitely got a learning curve, but for a completely free program and with a little bit of experience in photoshop, it's great!

Smoothing yeah but like
if you want to edit a line (as in, change it's shape to make it more curvy or even add/remove thickness) i think only sai (and sai 2, preffered) have that option

I mainly default to sai since my wrists struggle a lot sometimes and for making decent lines i gotta edit them a lot

I wish I could get back in to drawing, and I'm happy for all that have! I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands/wrists and holding a pencil or a pen for long tends to make my fingers go numb. I can't even eat with chopsticks anymore :( and it also sometimes happens when I hold a utensil in general.

It was....an experience. lmao.

The plates are made out of 2mm eva foam, so it was just laborious as opposed to difficult.

I'm re-building her (starting with the armor and some wig TLC), and will be build with resin-cast plates. So she's gonna weigh a LOT more... but probably move and feel a lot more epic to wear.

I don’t know if there’s any Italian checking this channel but, tada! I made a corona laurel(sorry if i spelled it weird) for my Italian friend who is graduating tomorrow! thx! JJK really inspired me and encouraged me to not be shy when having sketchy style (instead of the mainstream clean line art. I tried to do that, but it felt just not me..... Gotta stick and accept my messy style more) XD

That reminds me from someone (Takehiko Inoue, Vagabond, I think). The 'simplest' things to drawing hair are....to let your hand flow and think for itself.. Don't really overthinking when drawing hair flow. The less 'conscious' you are, the more natural it would come XD
