it's tough to tell from just the picture, I can't tell if there's a lot of blended or quarter stitches, but I'd estimate a 14ct full canvas 14x18 to be maybe 150-200 hours

I think people still recognize the character since u draw his "iconic". But if u still want to fix it, maybe nose bridge need more length and your nostril more wide than the original. Also the jaw need more stretch down a little bit.

Dnd Cleric I made for a new campaign I'm playing a lost mother looking for her children but with a tragic plot twist. She was working against a Mafia family meanwhile, her kids being the adventurer types decide they are gonna help their mother. But in the end she has to sacrifice herself to protect her kids from the mob. Waking up in a cave, she will now be desperately looking for her children. Only to find one of her children dying of old age in their bed. It's been over 100 years. And she is now a vampire turned when the mafia goons tossed her into the cave. I'm so excited to play her tragic story! It's gonna be so much fun.

Just used the cast off tail and did lots of stitching. I’m no expert lol. I kind of made it up as I went along and got better with practice. I normally just pull through the last stitch after stitching it on to make a knot then weave in the end a couple of times and snip as close to the body as possible.

I spent like 3-4 hours in Such Art and I painted a unicorn!! :D

I had an absolute blast doing it! I had to make a tooon of adjustments, and it's still definitely not perfect, but it came a looong way from its first iteration, and I am soooo happy with the way it came out! It has been years since I've spent that long working on art, but I am soooo happy and I enjoyed it so much! Digital art is so much fun. I deeeefinitely recommend this game! :D

Okay I'll set the scene Lysandra Warden was a holy priestess to the Goddess of Love. She was a mother to 3 but tragedy would strike when a Mafia would overtake her city. Lysandra had no choice she sacrificed herself to save her children. The Mafia would leave her for dead in a cave only for a vampire to turn her while she slept for 100 years. Only to wake up finding out she a vampire yadda yadda she and her guild members defeat a great evil yadda yadda 100s of years have passed now in the modern day Lysandra Warden hides among the mortals as a workaholic assistant at a company that runs a basic Dungeon for start up adventurers. At one point she was the CEO but retired and started from the ground up at the same company. (Like the Cullens from twilight but instead of caps she collects retirement files.)

If she had an anime it'd be titled.
"I'm a workaholic vampire who refuses to retire, even after 100s of years."

She an Archeologist from the modern times in my dms world who gets set back in time to the heros party.
I based her look on street fashion and I'm gonna do a Valkey girl accent.

Working on my own ( and first ) coral island OC, Mura !

She is a Merperson who has been stuck inside the waterways / sewers underneath Starlet town, originally drawn into the tunnels due to her curiosity and fascination surrounding the pipe work and human construction. She also loves, and is just as fascinated by insects and little rodent sewer creatures, like rats whom she has been training to fetch her shiny objects to tinker with!

She is practical, a tinkerer, and an aspiring engineer. Although stuck inside of the waterways, she keeps the old pumps running so the tunnels don't flood uncontrollably, keeping her little critter friends and their homes safe.

Some fun random things about her:

She names every single pipe in the sewer system, such as "Big Lou," "Ol' Rusty," etc.

She is also very sly and playful, she loves to suddenly appear from pipe openings to startle people (Once the player unblocks and unlocks currently locked drains, and sewerage system), and she has an encyclopedic memory of the tunnel layout.

Once freed from the tunnels, she will actually preference to still live in them, or at least nearby, as she now thinks of the open ocean as “too bright” or “too loud” and preferences the quiet ( more clunky than quiet tbh) hum of machinery.

She collects of course what she believes to be human trinkets ( but instead is all just literal trash) to adorn herself with. Up-cycling coins, bottle caps, plastic bottles, trash bags, you name it — into accessories and clothing pieces. She’s a pretty big Trash-maid.

I love the idea of this character, and am excited to finish and expand further upon her! :))

Also, her tail is inspired by a catfish, and mud fish!

Those are so pretty! Did you use any flame to get rid of them? You can use a lighter across the top and it gets rid of the bubbles before it sets. I use a heat gun and that helps too

I would still give them to her, they’re coasters so a drinks gonna sit on top of them anyway haha

For wings, define the feathers very slightly with your brush, then apply a thin deeper color at the edge of the weather. With a Brighter color, apply the brush in the feather. You don t need to do something very detailed 🙂

Woah, this is super cool! I love how you incorporated the red and black theme into the blood moon. It also reminds me of classical angel paintings with a golden halo, but in this case it's the blood moon with a dark character

These are all so atmospheric! I really dig the cog and chains details on the first piece. The stitches and the contrasting eyes of the girl in the second piece is hauntingly beautiful. The small details like the background designs, the bandages, and the runes embroidery in the last piece are a delight to look at~

Yesss the golden leaves in her tattoos are also a symbol of him!! They are both orphans, and while she later got reclaimed by her bio family she ditched them when she was an adult (they just wanted her fame) and went back to her brother- she even took his last name.

The necklace Cillian wears is the only thing he has from his mother, and he had mixed feelings but ultimately chooses to believe (correctly) that she loved him and did what she thought was best. (It's also based on a pressed-leaf necklace I own and love)

They are very very close :3 her outfit was easy to sketch and line but i flipped through sooo many color combos it was a nightmare LOL

I finally designed her bc I was doing doodles of Cillian smiling for once in his life and one moment he smiles is when he proudly declares that actress as his sister he loves his baby sister
