I don't know guys... Think my hubby enjoyed his Father's Day dinner?
I haven't had the means of making my fried chicken in a long time, so he was quite chuffed indeed.
He look so happy 😂
Hot days, fresh drinks :D Mango / Raspberry smoothie, made with fresh fruits in two layers, each layer being mixed with coconut water, lime and a bit of strong honey. Nom!
Peach and orange is also tasty... 🍊 🍑 I hope we'll be able to make many kinds of smoothie in Coral Island :D
Those are dangerous
They must be confiscated
It's a matter of national security, now put them in this basket
A non alchoholic dark and stormy for my cert 2 Hospitality class
Steak, chips, egg and pepper gravy.
AAAAA LOOKS GOOD
and high in protein
for a second, i thought i saw egg + melted chocolate, that was very confusing xD then i saw what you wrote 😛
Pullot again love this stuff
Trout with green beans, and almonds roasted in butter :D
Seems fishy
'tis indeed.
I wonder though how come trouts are so cheap these days, while every other fish price is through the roof. (Way of speaking. No actual flying fish.) I mean, sure, fish is expensive because of transport and gas costs, but... WHY DO YOU ESCAPE THE LAW OF ALL OTHER FISH, TROUT? (Now I'm learning how to cook you, you'd better not have made yourself special)
But it should also be affected by gas prices... It's like, really cheap, around 5-6€ per kilo these days
(cheap for fish, that is, of course)
Anyway, now that the temperature has dropped by more than twenty degrees after a couple of rainy days, back to warm infusions. Mint and peach this time!
Oh, herbal teaaaaa
I tend to drink a decent variation too
Star anis tea is quite nice
I never tried! I'll try to think about it next time I swing by a store.
Does it taste different from the other kind of anis? The small seeds?
We have a mix called "sterrenmix"
It's base is star anis and licorice root
Hmmm
It does have a characteristic anis taste
But it's not as powerful as anisette
It is a star shaped dried seed yes
At work we now have fruit infusions
Which is good, as most tea is black tea with a bit of flavour component like dried fruit
Bit you end up drinking a lot of black tea that way
Engineering, mostly 3d modelling and calculating that things won't break
We have access to a coffee machine and a boiler
Coffee & Indonesian traditional snack/sweets, "Rambut Nenek" (lit. meaning Grandma's Hair)
Starbucks selling Rambut nenek??
NoOOoo
They're just the cups I've got
Grandma’s ram butt boot
¯_(ツ)_/¯

Nothing
Are you meant to share or did you get two drinks for yourself?
I'm having them with my dad 😂
Oh. Ok. I also thought this was Starbucks. I should read first then comment
What does grandma’s hair taste like?

That’s fairy floss / cotton candy
Yes! 😂 That's what Grandma's Hair are
With your dad's hair too? 👀
If your dad eats one. Does he call it mum’s hair?
wait we have dad's hair too in Indo now? not just grandma's hair?
I don’t think so.
I made tiramisu with mango roasted in caramel, which I extinguished (what verb do you use for when you stop your caramel from cooking on?) with coconut milk. It tastes great :D
Y mean cotton candy
Lavender shortbread cookies
Oooh that's so tasty! I haven't made these in forever!
this reminds me of a bomb-ass congee seller near my house.
been a while since i eat there.
I don't often eat in a restaurant... But today, being far from home, I did, and they had something on the dessert card called "Ananas cooked for 7 hours".
I was a bit curious... And it turned out to be THE BEST DESSERT I ever ordered anywhere :o It unexpectedly came with a spoon of what I can only describe as gingerbread jam; spices, chantilly, and macarons filled with a kind of mirabelle and lemon jelly. And ananas sorbet at the bottom. And the ananas was melty and delicious.
I see food 👀
It took me way too long to remember that ananas are pineapples, not bananas
the lovely, english is like one of the only ones that calls pineapples something other than ananas,,,
I know I'm late to the party but somehow the image on the left makes me physically uncomfortable even though I will happily eat other kinds of soups and stews with varying flavored and textured bits in them.
It’s my fiancé’s birthday today so I made him cupcakes 🧁
i made chocolate-banana-vanilla icecream by putting vanilla icecream in a blender, adding nutella and a frozen banana
it was good 😋
oh i also had to add some milk, cuz my blender could not handle the amount of freezing
looks delicious 😋
maybe one day i'll get a very awesome strong blender, which can blend even frozen stuff
