The cupcake is in the way
You eat the cupcake while sucking the milkshake through the straw.
scoops out cupcake and drinks the milkshake
Nope, the straw goes through the cupcake.
Is the cupcake vanilla flavored?
Birthday cake flavor
Ah, so wax.
No?
It was.
Last time I was there, I got the doughnut one.
I can't find my photos of the donut one so this is from their website.
This is there photo of my shake, I am not a professional photographer. 🤣
Americans never deny a food challange!
why do Americans make everything birthday cake/batter flavored?
Not everyone likes Chocolate or Strawberry, but everyone likes Vanilla. Birthday Cake is an improved Vanilla.
😂 lies
"We ordered way to many bags of sugar what do we do?"
"Increase the dosage!"
Red currant actually
We got blackberries, black currant, and some raspberries
They're like tiny juice beads
i'll DM you :)
i'm half awake, but your food looks like something i would love to eat for dinner (was too tired for dinner tonight)
that freakshake looks absolutely delicious :)
yes it is :)
that also looks like a very delicious freakshake :)
despite having overdosed on sugary candy for today, i feel the need to have this, it looks so delicious :)
i... i love you... i want those kind of berries as well, they're the best ❤️ sour (most of the time i like sweet fruits, but alas, i overdosed on sugary candies today)
unless im confusing htem with other berries that im used to
Rode bessen
if i pinged someone, sorry, i might have forgotten to turn off the @ing system
Ding ding ding time, theres always time for more dings
yep, absolutely, i asked my parents to bring me a bucket or so, but they forgot :'c
haha
I picked about one each day
Thats a few kilos
And in a few weeks
Blackberry picking
yea i want one of those bushes on my balcony
❤️berries❤️
i have 3 (yellow) raspberry plants on my balcony currently :P
and my sister gave me a lot of strawberry plants as a birthdaygift (yea birthday is soon)
so me happy :)
im gonna get some sleep now
👋
(🤤cant help thinking about berry smoothies)
Goonighto
I recently baked this strawberry almond tart for my family, and I thought it turned out pretty nicely so I figured I’d share it!
So pretty! ✨
Thanks! It was really tasty
Ooou wow I helped decorate a fruit tart before! It's really therapeutic getting them nicely lined up, and you did a great job with it!
that looks so delicious ❤️
my boyfriend gave me breakfast on bed for my birthday :)
that's so sweet 🥺
croissants, home-made fruit icecream/milkshake/smoothie, and a little apple pie from the Aldi 😋
no picture, sorry :P
yeah he is very sweet :)
happy birthday too!
thank you :D
As expected the milkshake was sweet, how about the boyfriend though
Just put whipped cream on his head, a cherry on top and proclaim him your cupcake
haha thats cute (and a tasty mess :P)
Is it still stinky? 👀
Why are you combining one of my favourite things with something potentially cursed? 😭
Yes it still smells like durian 😂
You just havent found the righr durian yet 😂
I made a pizza with some leftover brisket and homemade pizza sauce using tomatoes from my garden.
that looks tasty :)
SO made some miso chicken noodle soup 🍜😊 (Chicken stock, pechay/Chinese cabbage, nori, chicken breast, miso paste, spices)
perfection😋
Your image is... soul piercing
Also reminds me of a nice restaurant with great oyakodon
Which image?
Erm profile picture
The gaze is certainly something, and absolutely amusing
I found something interesting, how rasped cheese seems to taste different from solid...
that looks delicious, i really want to eat some 😋
Unsure why, it hasn't changed or been exposed to heat, maybe the addition air adds something
you can also start freezing it then, but solid cheese you cant freeze as well
Ah fun fact, cheeses like Gouda cheese are semi solids, as theyre still elastic but will not run like some cheeses like roquefort
It's not solid, because they still have some spring, which is lost with harder cheeses
hah i know very little about cheese xD
who am I to disagree
Don't you mean:
Who am I to dis a brie?
I’ll dis Brie. It’s an inferior cheese. 🥊
Who are you to camembert here and make such statements
That’s what cheese said.
that food looks good, i'd love to eat some of it :)
No channel is safe from puns
I opened a box of hot pockets and one was wrapped in the plastic and one was not. is it still safe to eat xD
Wouldn’t risk it tbh
Factory workers are not known for their hygiene when working 18 hour shifts in a sweaty hot factory
My grandpa worked in the mills when he was a teenager so maybe things have improved from his time but he always warned me when the foreman is timing you you don’t take breaks for hygiene
Wondering if it is okay. Even though hot pocket and pizza rolls are two different things sometimes pizza rolls come unwrapped in a box if you buy the smaller ammount so maybe its just put in the box by a machine? plus they are frozen then cooked so maybe it would kill any germs?
I dunno but food poisoning is one of those things I don’t play with
Like a $1.50 hot pocket is not worth the risk of being violently ill and wanting to rip out my own intestines
true but its more than that xD and also dont kids put dirt in their mouths all the time? but i get what you mean
Today's pizza features the same homemade BBQ pizza sauce as yesterday; but I used chicken marinated with smoked peppers, hamburger, sausage, and pineapple.
Death by nom
Filled with chicken, cream cheese, red peppers, caramelized onions, & Greek seasoning.

Hawaiian pork tacos with hawaiian mac salad
Green paprika and eggplant "shakshuka" with all the stale bread to soak up them delicious sauce
I love shakshuka! I make mine a little differently but man I could eat every breakfast
ooh can I have your recipe please?
mine's pretty simple: three garlic cloves, thinly sliced, sauteed with the other two vegetables on middle-low heat until slightly browned, add around 200ml of bolognese pasta sauce (which is why it's "shakshuka") and a bit of water, salt and pepper, simmer for a while before adding the eggs. Done
I like to add a little bit of turkey meat to my sauce base, I added a few extra spices, also add some yellow bell pepper along with the green and red (mostly for color doesn’t change the flavor) and garnish with parsley. Allot of my friends leave the egg a little runny but I make sure it boils all the way through because I can’t eat runny yolk.
Spicy chicken over waffle fries with melted jack cheese blue cheese ranch and green onions and fried pickles
Oatmeal that is amazing
first time growing serano peppers, and the first harvest!
oooooo! another pepper gardener! my people!
yes Dick's Wings and Grill
Must be some arcane shop where you can buy grills and wings
I. Wah. Do you please have a recipe ;3; ?
Turkey, kale, and mushroom soup.
Looks good! I like simplistic soups. I'd exchange the kale with spinach myself though.
Bulgogi marinated pork belly and bok choy with kimchi on rice
Attempted to make some milk tea yesterday and added wintermelon syrup + crushed cookies 🧋🌞
What is that combo like? The only way I’ve had winter melon before is as a pastry filling. I’m having a hard time imagining it combined with milk and cookies.
It's pretty good, it's a little difficult to describe but it adds a certain pleasant sweetness to the tea (also has a little hint of vanilla imo) *winter melon is also the go-to flavor of boba tea from where I live if you're not quite sure what to get 😄
I want that glass T.T
Made some macarons for a family gathering! All my years of practicing and learning how to make these are finally seeming to pay off
they turned out sooo good
Baked some Parmesan and black pepper bread last night. Didn’t go perfectly but at least the crust came out amazing!
Ooh that looks delicious! Homemade bread is the best 😋
As far as I know they're green beans, but which variety I do not know
This may explain some things. but beans have names there is a whole bunch of different purple green beans https://www.gardenbetty.com/why-do-purple-beans-turn-green-after-cooking/
ooooh i harvested some as well today! 😄
Those look like some great backyard potion berries, so pretty
oh you're making me hungry :)
I have become a villager in age of empires
Next week, blackcurrant and blackberry picking
This bush is nuts though
We already got like probably 5kg of berries
Yaaay high five things! Now to get dat 500 food for the town center upgrade
cheesesteakjimmy's 😇
and that one i cntr+v constantly, cuz its the easiest to mess up :P
I had a lot of fun with the priest which instaconverted things
Also interesting article on the bean colouring
Will update once the other fruit ripens
Behold the wild burgah opening its maw, swallowing its prey cucumber slice whole
A so not appetizing picture of my breakfast
It's a thai style omelette
With fried garlic, and holy basil UwU
Steamed rice with makrut leaves underneath
Y’all making me hungry over here lol
Roasting 2 whole heads of garlic getting me a soft subtle garlic shrimp- going to roast 4 next time - still really yummy.
moods🤤 😋
hmmm you guys make me hungry 😋
Strawberry vanilla mouse and white chocolate cake 🙂
ooh that looks so decadant
Breakfast on the trail this morning - scrambled eggs and gluten free pecan pancakes.
aw man im getting hungry, it looks all so tasty 😋
I made a cherry cake few days ago. Sadly, it didn't last much so I will have to make another one D:
Cacio y pepe pasta with chicken and Okra grown in my own garden! 🥰
Fun fact, I make "vegan caviar" out of pickled okra seeds!
A Chilaquiles like thing? Made the sauce from scratch, and did homemade tortilla in the oven
My favorite dish from a new restaurant. The Pineapple Bowl.
This looks incredible.
oh my god...I want
Found a Korean corn dog place with a Kpop theme. Delicious
was the corn dog kpop or the place just plays kpop?
@flint oak yes!
😮 do you have a photo of it?? 😮 I've been looking for something like that for so long!
@pliant urchin there's a sweet version made of passionfruit as well.
i haven’t properly effortcooked in a bit but i made rocketburgers for july 4th—goat cheese, arugula, and a strawberry compote on a ciabatta bun. sides were crockpot mac and chipotle slaw
hmmm staring at this before i've had any breakfast 🤤 hungry 2.0 for these foods!
hmm delicious 😋
my boyfriend and i are trying to eat empty my freezer, so that hopefully soon i can thaw out the freezer once more, and get that massive layer of ice out of the freezer, and then we can refill it with lotsa veggies soup, lotsa tomato soup, lotsa lentil soup, lotsa lasagna, lotsa quiche, and pizza's of course 😋
omg those look sooo good
its probably one of the best things I can make for a breakfast lol, though usually they aren't so desserty looking, I just had leftover whipped cream icing to use up and a can of pie filling so.... worlds unhealthiest breakfast today lol
hmmmm i'd love to try those, they look delicious 😋
boyfriend made dinner (meat=frikandel, egg with ketchup, and some veggies :P )
dutchie meal!
with canada style egg 😋 (the egg is how he made breakfast often in Canada, though there he'd also do toasted bread & some kind of sliced meat on the plate)
Shrimp tostadas, with black beans and sauteed yellow squash
well, my tuna salad sammich filling doesn't look like anything other than speckled goop, but the bread i got for it is pretty neat
Finally got some new (to me at least) chip flavors today. We’ll see how they are!
shopping in America gives me anxiety there is to much to many different flavors of chips yet non of them close to home
The US definitely has a lot of flavors, of which there’s only a few I tend to like, but if you’re willing and able to spend a little more, or have friends from other parts of the world, you can get all sorts of flavors here that aren’t on typical grocery store shelves. Are there any particular flavors you were looking for?
just ketchup lol cause I am a true Canadian 😂
Those aren’t too hard for me to get, but I do live fairly close to the border. I think I like the all dressed a little better, but that’s me. 😝
@stable kestrel I'm not to far myself just haven't been able to cross with the boarder being closed still I do like the all dressed to
ketchup flavored chips are good indeed :P
WHAT, I NEED TO GO TO TJS TODAY
haha @warm inlet , that's an eternal mood for me
Lol, I can never go there without leaving with 10 extra things....
i mean, what with the seasonal set up and all, might as well grab while the grabbing's good
one of my fave salsas just rotated out, and i am le sads
i had the same today with grocery store
me this month: we gotta keep our expenses low for abit
me today in grocery store: so smarties, ginger ale, 2 packages of muffins, some cake mis (tompoucen), a package of salted caramel topping whippedcreamfrozensnacks (slagroomsoesjes), a tasty bread, lotsa bake-off breads.... better luck next week :c
Big breaky like that in Oz would set you back maybe $18 - $25
I'm more curious what's in the drink
idk if this counts as a foodie thing, but I'm half Asian, and I'm constantly asked by non Asians how we cook rice in our family.
anyway, I have this tiktok saved to my phone JUST for the explanation
Experimenting with #shorts. What you think? What you think?
anyway, tonight I made mexican rice for dinner because my sister loves mexican food
First time ever cooking rice in saucepan
Ice cream cake 😋
I am jealous
About £10
It was just a green smoothie, so spinach, kale, kiwi, etc.
I dont know how to feel about that
To be fair, it was probably slightly inflated by the fact that it was at Gatwick airport
That's inflated???
A full English breakfast would cost less than £10 usually
Brunch! Eggs in a basket. 💛
i looked it up, thats (at this moment) close to 14 american dollars
toss it in #🤝coral-feedback ? :)
if i was hungry, i'd be hyping over all the foodies :P
(which means 'it looks very good', just to make sure people know im loving it)
seafooooooood 🦞
😋
I wish I was joining you! That looks absolutely 🤩 amazing. Now i’m hungry
hmmm looks delish 😋
It was delish 😋 marinated with italian herbs, then salad with blue cheese dressing ❤️
I may have a photo of my "vegan caviar" mustard seeds! Those had a better texture anyway.
I do! Well, on other food.
Pickled mustard seed on deviled eggs
@pliant urchin they're surprisingly easy to make! Just boil and drain like a quarter cup of mustard seeds 3-4 times until they stop turning the water yellow then put them in a jar with white wine vinegar, a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar, peppercorns, minced garlic, dill, and add some kombu kelp if you want a bit of an ocean taste to make it feel closer to actual caviar. 😁
that all sounds so delightfully astringent 🤤
Lmaoooo i have POTS so I'm high key addicted to pickles and super salty foods, i really love making my own!
i feel ya on the pickles/salt
i recently made tuna salad that cranked up the pickle/astringency tone of the ingredients, and it's sublime
Adding a bit of dijon mustard brings out the pickle taste really well. 😋
mhm
dijon mustard is one of the few condiments i always have on hand
always gotta have some to meld w red wine vinegar for recipes
Oh oh have you ever tried umeboshi vinegar? I have a mild tomato allergy, too much turns my stomach, so to stretch that acidic flavor I use umeboshi (aka japanese pickled plum) vinegar. I also cut tomato paste with umeboshi paste, or just straight up swap them. Its delicious.
Oh WOW!!!! That looks incredible!! Thank you very much for the info, I've gotta try this
i've never heard of umeboshi, but it sounds v intriguing
i'll have to keep an eye out for it next time i'm making a marinade
White chocolate macarons 🍪
those eggs make my hyped with memories, though it probably had other stuff inside the egg at those parties my parents hosted. Might give making it a try one day soon (the power of nostalgia)
looks good :)
how sweet is that? I feel like macarons are sweet but I feel like pure white chocolate might be a bit much for my sweet tooth
you had me at 'sweet', i gotta give macarons an other try :) i have a package to make them, its only 5 years past best before date, probably still works :P (and i tried them only once, but can not recall them being sweet)
the reason i did not try them again, is cuz they were never offered to me again, i would barely ever avoid food that i can eat (spicy food, that scares me, and that i'll avoid, unless im hungry or someone made it for dinner)
and i have to say, macarons always look like a delight if i saw them somewhere
the same with this one, it looks delicious :)
the base of the cookie being equal parts almond flour and powdered sugar plus glandular sugar just makes the cookie sweet itself if you break down the sweetness in the filling its levels the cookie out
now that im thinking about it, im remembering times i made something and it wasnt as good as i hoped it to be, and the next time i nailed it, and third time failed again. How come i never puzzled together that possible that one time i had a macaron it might not have been the best one, and thought that it was the default flavor of all macarons? 🤔
i never knew that :)
(continuing) the same way that i prefer homemade burgers over buying them at burger king, they simply taste a lot better and juicier when i make them from minced meat. So many times when i made something, and did everything right, it did not turn out well, and the next time when i did everything the same way, it turned out just fine, and then again it did not. Macarons must have been in my blind spot, also cuz i always assume that when someone who is not me makes something, then it must be good quality (only stopped thinking that way a few years ago)
impressed
Macarons to be fair are just soo picky. Don't give up on yourself
picky?
whoa those look incredible! I’ve always been too intimidated to try macarons
Seared scallops over salad, green beans with crispy pork belly, beets, and homemade amaranth crackers.
hmmm i'd love to try that 😋
Thanks, tastes good too 😋
It is pretty sweet, but not overwhelmingly; the cookie is plain almond, only the filling has white chocolate in it.
i can believe that 😋
Cilantro Lime chicken
i make a similar recipe w drumsticks, bulma. tried and true fave of mine
Fried rice (we have no veggies lol), chicken, and orange sauce 🤤
Man I wish I had taken a picture of the ramen I had for dinner. Spice level 6 and I am ON FIRE!
Baked Chocolate & Peanut Butter Chip Snickerdoodles at 2 AM.
the foods look delicious 😋
I just had to share this
waa that is one interesting brand! 👀
right? :)) a friend brought it, cause he came over for some coffee
Pechkeks? Literally "Bad Luck Cookies"
oh, is that what it means? 👀
what language is it?
German, though Dutch might use the same/similar words (not sure there)
although Pech can also mean Pitch/Resin. But still, if you get pitch'd (Pech gehabt = you have been pitch'd) you won't consider your day to be lucky, would you?
that is very true 🤣
that misforture cookie mildly scares me xD
Speaking of scary....
Nice. I really want to try super spicy pepper. I have a high heat tolerance growing up where I did, yet every spicy "challenge" I've tried has disappointed me.
i'm tempted by the ghost pepper habernero sauce that my fave grocery place recently released, but the spicy things i can eat don't always agree w my digestive system
i dont know what it is, it looks scary xD it reminds me of the halloween candy that was 'blood' which my boyfriend and i used for funsies :P
It's one chip, but the hottest there is because it's made from Carolina Reapers. Search YouTube for "Carolina Reaper gone wrong".
oh dear, hottest scares me a lot, one of the few things i can not handle is spicy food xD
i'm the person who goes to a chicken place, and asks for 'hey i see you have chicken wings spicy, can i get those without the spicy? uses puppy eyes'
I'm the same way. I got it from my mom, who's much worse than me. I can handle like... mild to medium spicy, but even sometimes medium spicy is too much. My mom, however.... even the mild sauce from taco bell is too spicy for her xD
i try to avoid spicy at all costs, or get my hands on milk/yogurt/icecream :P
Ice cream the best choice.
spicy ice cream?
best summer sandwich: (in layer order)
jewish rye
coleslaw
swiss cheese
dry turkey
thousand island dressing
jewish rye
thousand island dressing
swiss cheese
dry turkey
mayo
jewish rye
A vibe
Me waking up at 3am bcs I forgot to put on my sleep machine
you brought the best and the worst together 😰 (spicy is scary to me :P)
haha, apologies
although i would be curious whether anyone's been experimenting w what works
spicy chocolate had a long enough history for me to wonder about other spicy sweetness
I made Southern biscuits from scratch for the first time today
@remote pagoda have you tried the Carolina Reaper or Trinidad Morgua Scorpion?
those look like they turned out really well
@vivid wadi they did. Not bad for my first try ey?
Roast chicken with garlic bread stuffing
me and my boyfriend agree that those two photos with food look delicious :D
I made chicken parm with some spaghet (it's linguine noodles I forgot to buy spaghetti noodles oop). The cheese could have been browned better but it was already in for 20 minutes and I didn't wanna dry out the chicken 😂
that looks utterly sublime (then again, chicken parm is one of my fave dishes ever, so i'm p biased)
We had pasta salad today... pasta, green beans, rucola and a light olive oil. It was quite nice
sounds v refreshing. might have to look into making one of my own once i'm off my fish sandwich kick
Ah fish sandwich, a unique taste but I like it
We also had a mozzarella, tomato, basil platter
man, it's really an italian cuisine day today in the ci server, isn't it
i'm not complaining
that chicken parm looks very good 😋
Today’s lunch! 😋
@flat vale you can brown cheese really quick under the oven's broiler. Takes like 2 minutes.
If I had a broiler I would 😂 I live in military housing with million year old appliances
You managed to get an ancient fire pit in your living room? Usually housing associations tend to be stingy with those
Japanese-ish curry made from scratch with broccoli, onions and boiled eggs
lately i made spaghetti and put nutella through it, not sure whether it was a crime or whether it was a great idea. Tasted pretty okay (and we were out of pasta sauce)
just pray that no Italian sees this 👀
hides
<someone knocks on my door>
me: oh no they found me O.o
<i was never heard of again>
A letter with a single farfalle was mailed a few days later
xD
All that was left behind was a single oricchette... 😭
Signed by the infamous Tort E. Lini
this sounds like the name of a horror/detective movie xD
@wooden pivot it does mean little ear so... Yes! 🤣🤣
🤣
the reader after they close the book: 'and.... it all started with spaghetti and nutella? 🤯 '
"Man this cookbook was weird yo"
I did last see a great video which went over like.... many different pastas
The reviews must be raving
"More layers than a well stuffed lasagna"
I made biscuits again. These came out better
you make me hungry 😋 (lasagna is among me and my boyfriends favorite foods)
I'm craving hawaiian pizza 😫
Next up, the pizza will have a hawaiian shirt, or a hula skirt
me approves
It appears as long as the food is good, you approve hahaha
Gelato with macarons~
true xD
quiche 1 out of 4 (number 2 is in the oven)
welp the egg mixture is still liquid, so back into the oven it goes
2 out of 4 tastes great
Go for it! (Also gelato is kinda like ice cream, but generally less fatty)
oooooooo now i remember gelato, it is so tasty 😋
the 4 quiches (we ate half of 1 xD too tasty to not eat)
and this is a picture sideways 😋
Those look amazing tbh
waa looks delish~ 👀
it looks so good, i love quiche sm
CRAP I JUST REMEMBERED I WAS DEFROSTING PIZZA DOUGH
Okay I asked my mom to take it out of the fridge hopefully she sees my text before it turns into a yeast balloon 😓😓😅😅😅
Now do a dutch angle
smokes it is disorienting to take pictures that way
I'm not sure why it's called that though, maybe because paul verhoeven was the first cinematographer to do so?
But it would make for an amusing quiche photoshoot
the same way with 'Going dutch' = split the bill :P
Which amusingly enough, I do not like at all, unless its obviously a large group
Some may call this food
what is in the bucket? there are a few things I could guess
cranberries from the cranberry bogs?
Ah the buckets have got red berries
No joke, that's the name
We make syrups, jams and jellies with it
ah
Oh sorry, it's redcurrant
They're distributed over time, to family and stuff
Quite popular hahaha
Great in yoghurt for example
sounds like it would be
'aalbes' is their name as well (took ages before i realized they were the same berry) and according to wiki in english it is 'Redcurrant' :)
try smoothies, they get very sour, but they're delicious 😋 through the yoghurt is really good as well
oh you said it as well, oops xD
hahaha it seems like great minds think alike :D
(my way of saying 'welp, i suggested the same things as you said xD)
I also read after writing :D
i write while reading xD so thats how come i suggest things and then while i keep reading realize you said the same
We extract the juice using a steam pan
Boil water, which rises into the berries to pop them, and then we tap the juice
as a kid, my parents one time made me pick them, and said 'dont come back till this bucket is filled with berries' but alas, i have this massive fear of spiders and back then of other bugs as well, so i would put sticks in it, to have to pick less berries xD
nowadays me still doesnt like bugs, but im not scared of them. Except spiders, they are monsters >:c (xD)
Ah, you could also pick em with the stems left hahaha
Oh, I have a resident spider in my car mirror, not too bothered
i would do it with stems indeed, but it still would not go fast enough for frightened kid me xD
Hey, i have lot of unused white egg, since i only used the yolk to make cake. Anyone have suggestion what kind of food i can cook with white egg as main ingredient?
you a fan of frittatas?
Fluffy desserts! Meringues, Pavlova, (chocolate) angel food cake, citrus (or chocolate) cream pie - pretty much anything fluffy!
macarons
Isn't frittatas same as omelet but with veggies?
pretty much
yep. here's a solid looking recipe, but you can probably play around with the veggies
let me know if you need an image transcription
tangy turkey pad thai noodles w greens, adapted from an nyt recipe
I celesee what you did there
Easy vegetable anyway
We had erm, whatever "witlof" is in english, in ham with potatoes and white sauce
Ah chicory
i don't think i've had chicory before, or at least not knowingly
i've only heard of it in reference to coffee
Coffee? Hard pressed to see the link, it's a white with green tipped ovoid shape vegetable
little update, my freezer contains over 3 lasagnas, over 3 quiches, and around 5 kg potato meal :P i want to top it off with soups, cuz i love soups
nuuuuuuuu xD then we gotta make all the food again xD
bramen? (sorry for dutch, i dont really know the english name for it)
blackberries?
Bramen is indeed the dutch name, and blackberries in english
very confusing, the english name xD
cuz this is what i would think is a black berry
That's blackcurrant
Yes, confusing for us indeed
We got those too
But barely any this year
very confusing xD
Then again, frambozen are like... err
Raspberries
Where the rasp comes from I do not know
Been super busy with moving apartments this week, but finally got enough unpacked to do a little cooking in new place.
what's this called?
I don’t know if it really has a name, but it’s a soup with dried fish stock, pork belly, kimchi, and a bunch of veggies.
ohh ok
yum yum
i've been watching a new netflix doc about korean cold noodle dishes, and boy do i have cravings
it looks tasty 😋
Pov you're ready for the delta variant lockdown
haha fun thing, when the first version came in my country, i was running low on my food storage xD
really, really bad timing xD
Rip
cuz with the first version coming, everyone started to buy a lot, and grocery stores were running low on a lot of things, and if i bought 2 packages anything, people would shame me for it
My parents stocked the house with and it was gone within like 2 weeks 🤣
haha xD
it really depends on how many people are in your home indeed
bread runs out first, i've noticed :P
so have flour & whatever you use (yeast or something) to make bread, and you'll be fine probably
also, having puff pastry in the freezer is an easy way to make tasty breads 😋 just put peanut butter, or nutella on it, roll it, bake it, and yum 😋
or cheese and mustard in it (gouda cheese if you arent in the NL, but i guess you can use other cheeses as well)
and freezing fruits works as well, if you prepare for lockdown (frozen banana for example)
anyways, me and my boyfriend wanna add a lot of soups to our freezer
how old are the kids? :)
This is scary
doritoodles?
I wanna say they're... pasta noodles instead of chips...?
We were 11 and 17 when the pandemic started and now we're 12 and (nearly) 18
cool :)
my brain is simply confused xD
they just look like noodles that would taste like doritos
or they're made out of carrots
It is Cheetos macaroni
o jeez, even more cursed than doritos
fair
i wish my plants grew like that :')
to be fair all my plants go right to my pig and bugs that feed my lizard 🤣
aside from the few I munch on
Grilled cheese for a midnight snack?
what is food name on the right?
is it banana choco?
It's a slice of cheesecake wrapped in a tortilla, wrapped in bacon, and deep fried. Powdered with cinnamon sugar and drizzled in chocolate.
dayum, that's really look tasty 😋
Dinner tonight! Oven baked salmon, red onion, fennel and baby arugula with a charred lemon vinaigrette
I've never cooked with fennel before but it turned out pretty well
Looks great!
Thank you! I love cooking 😋
Same! 😁
i am both amazed and scared xD
hmmmm looks delicious 😋
Thank you!
:)
nice pizza you have there
It was also really Good. I never Thought i would like a pizza with onions tbh
looks very tasty :)
I like the mafia esque remark
"What a nice pizza you got there, would be a shame if something were to happen to it"
My brother and I ordered pizza for lunch today 😂
omnomnom 😋
regular oven's broken, so we're using this mini convection until we get the big one fixed
bit more cramped than i'd like, but they do look scrumptious in there
hmmm that looks like it needs to be eaten by me 😋 looks very tasty
it's a soy sauce honey marinade with quite a bit of butter added
haven't tried it before, so hopefully it goes well
Flatbread with sautéed mixed greens with herbs and spices, and a couple of fried eggs.
I was gonna say, it's cheetos mac. Tried it once, won't do it again.
chicken lovers here 👍🍗 🍗
Tomorrow I shall be making peperoncini chicken
Will report back
ooh, pepperoncinis are one of my favorite toppings
reminds me of the cucumber jalapeno drinks i saw recently
Cucumber jalapeno
I've seen the combination before
Can't say it does make me go yes I want
haha, fair
i've liked the jalapeno limeade i get every once in a while, in moderation at any rate
Roger that
I have noticed a lot of cooking things and shows seem to like spice flakes
I was also bbq staff yesterday, and did not know halloumi was so interesting
And tasted not bad
i recently came across that as well
but mostly because i try to keep an eye on meat substitute-ish stuff for my sis
We got some really interesting fake meats
Not sure what its made from though
Can't be exclusively tofu anymore
That just doesnt get the right texture
And less salty block of tofu
And more something with a bite
I recently went to a vegetarian restaurant
And it was way more interesting things than salad and lasagnas
Which are totally nice, but usually their only vegetarian options
mm, there's lots of options these days, btw the progress in meatless meat options and expansion of access to entire venues of vegetarian eating
quite a few faiths discourage meat eating in various ways, not to mention the cultures that lived in areas not conducive to raising large farm animals and whatnot, and the food development has followed
I wouldn't peg faith as a great driver of lowered meat consumption, mostly because it's selective
At home we eat meat tops 3 times a week, mostly twice. Never really got the percieved need for eating it every day ha
*Mac n Cheetos
Regardless. Never doing it again HA
Honey glazed pork knuckle
That looks so good??????
that looks really tasty 😋
My birthday cake :))
Happy birthday
Happy birthday!
hmm looks good :)
Thank you so much 💕
Thank you so much 💕
we're making veggies soup 😋
probably vegan this time, cuz neither of us has the energy to make soup meat balls :P
Hedgehog cookies with Brasil nuts in, and melted chocolate / chocolate sprinkles on top :D
I rarely find the motivation to make them. They're so CUTE :D I wish they'd be quicker to prepare ^^
those cookies look delicious
I find it very amusing that bread sprinkles are rare outside the netherlands
We got flavoured anise sprinkles too
Banana bread! Despite how ugly it looks, its actually quite delicious 😄
Those are some of my favorite kinds of sprinkles to be honest ate them alot as a child far superior to the Nutella junk.
Yeah -_- France here, not always so easy to find.
I'm curious about the anise ones. Never saw that. Are they available in any supermarket? If so, I should try to get some next time I go through the Netherlands.
still quite common in Indonesia (well, considering)
and Germany has some too, although definitely not as good as Netherland's
well, considering we're colonized by said country
Were, as far as I know, unless I missed the memo that the netherlands recolonized indonesia
Look for fruithagel, anijshagel, bosvruchtenhagel for example
It just has something, just like how freshly grated cheeses also taste different than a whole piece
Thanks for the advice :-)
We often bring em for my cousins in France hahaha, that and stroopwafel
My grandmother is from the Mediterranean area
update on the soup: most of it has been frozen overnight :) now i feel like making tomato soup and other soups >v<
too bad that im very low on energy :c
So, eat some soup to regain energy
haha yea the soup is great, i've had it for breakfast :P
Aha, my grandma is also from the Mediterranean area! My grandpa was from the Netherlands though. And if I visit the Netherlands... I also bring back stroopwafels for the family XD
Oh how fun, I do the other way around, I visit France because I'm half french
what's this?
@median rose My version of egg fried rice but i added some ketjap to makenit even more tastier :)
nomnomnom, i wanna eat it 😋
Tried my hand at spaghetti carbonara and it slaps but I think I did it wrong
@drowsy silo technically you're supposed to scramble the eggs before adding them to the pasta. giggles
OH LMAO
Made homemade cherry bread! It started to dry out a bit because three loaves is too many for me by myself so I made bread pudding with the last loaf.
nice 👍.
We made some bread recently, but it never quite rises well
It's not a brick, still very edible
Probably because we use whole flour
Do you let your yeast froth up a bit first with good temp water and a bit of sugar?
Water is slightly warm water, no sugar though
We mostly use bakers yeast, the dry stuff
Yeah my yeast is dry as well, I usually give it a little something sweet to encourage it tho, sometimes just like a squeeze of honey
Hmm, it would sweeten the bread too
I don't think our normal loaf bread here has sugar added to it
post double interview day reward for myself
pepperoni, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and jalapeno pickles
Niiice
I made a pizza inspired by Fisherman's Toast from Genshin Impact (and also because I NEED to get RID of all this PIZZA DOUGH)
oh no, now I really have to order pizza 😍
hmm i'd love to try those foods 😋
It's a very minimal amount of sugar, just like a teaspoon so I don't know if it would be very noticable, but I'm biased bc I like things a little sweet lol
i've been making chocolate milk from dark chocolate lately
it goes like: 3 pieces or more of dark chocolate, powdered sugar, cream, short periods of microwaving and then stirring, add milk, and enjoy :)
Does it recristallize well though?
That's like the one thing chocolatiers struggle with
I have tried a while ago with some honey
There's probably also a trick to tension the dough which I don't know
i make chocolate milk from it, so as long as it dissolved nicely in the cream and milk, it is succeeded. Melting chocolate and making it get hard again, that is something that i havent tried in the past few years
the youtube channel 'how to cook that' explains often what you need to do for it to get hard again
Step one, make warm. Step two make cold
Dun dun duuun
Maybe the added cream and milk let it settle easier
It's interesting to see those machines chocolatiers have
With the spinning disk pulling up the chocolate
my mom used to make fruit chocolate candy
but it would never shine the way chocolate bars do kinda
the sugar is to feed the yeast! You gotta give it energy to rise, dunno that it works with honey
True some yeasts do need sugar, I did think that bread yeasts managed with flour though
most bread that uses dry yeasts needs a lil sugar afaik
Flour is added after the yeast gets hungry, but I don't think it really activates if you just put it in warm water?
Hmmm
It definitely did stuff
Otherwise it would've been a bit more building supply than food hahaha
made soy sauce beef meatballs + artichoke quinoa salad today
was too tired after to post pics, but i will when i get the chance
The meatballs wore you out huh
nah, they were easy
doing errands before cooking and hand washing everything after was what did it
Anyone else here at DragonCon?
No. But I am wondering why I see tater tots with..what looks like lucky charms marshmallows?
i have no clue what most of that food is, but i would like to try its flavor :P
Probably tastes red, green or blue
Here's the ad for it.
I feel stupid asking this but it's an American thing isn't it. . . .
all i know about dragon con is that, this year, there's a person cosplaying as the evergreen suez canal blocking ship and going around blocking doorways
In a sense that is hilarious, in the other sense, that gets old real fast
that's the one
We also caught Omniman. Turns out his weakness was his cape.
Well thats mildly inconvenient
this is a good one 😂
The ‘what’s in the fridge’ special tonight. Greek seasoned ground lamb (onion, garlic, oregano, assorted chili flakes, cinnamon, clove, tomato paste, sumac), spinach, and macaroni and cheese tossed in a pan. It kinda works? It’s vaguely reminiscent of pastitsio?
cinnamon, ey
It's common in many desserts and in some savory meat dishes in some parts of Greece. There were a lot of Greek immigrants where I grew up (I'm not sure if they were mostly from any particular region or not though), and some Greek food just doesn't taste right to me without cinnamon in it because that's how I always had it for the first 22 years of my life.
mmm, i can imagine
just haven't experienced it w/the other spices mentioned, most of which i'm familiar with
hmmm that looks good, and looking at foodies is a smart move when lunchtime is here :P
I just..I just saw a photo of this on reddit.
Having a steak burger for lunch at DragonCon.
dayum,looking good 👍
Then for dinner, two beef patties, Swiss cheese, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and tomato jam.
🍴 that's perfect✨
burger for lunch
beef and bacon for dinner.
what do you eat for breakfast, if i may know?
I skipped breakfast this morning because I knew I was having those two burgers. But I usually eat a BLT with a sunny side up egg and avacado.
oohh ok
I've started going through the past 9 years of my life that have been stored away in boxes. Because of how many times I was forced to move and didn't have time to go through stuff. I'm really hoping to cut down on the amount of boxes and also junk that I know is in some of them.
👀 do you have food inside these 9 year old boxes?
Ooo you got "buy 1 get 3 steaks" grill?
Hahahaha
there was a convo earlier on the way i make chocolate milk, so i decided to share a picture. How i do it: dark chocolate, powdered sugar/icing sugar, a little bit of cream, microwaving it for 10 secs, stirring, repeat till all the chocolate is combined with the cream into a chocolate sauce, then add bit of cream or milk (depending on how creamy you like) stir, repeat till your glass is filled with chocolate milk :)
hmmm you make me hungry for meat 😋
that looks delicious 😋
my head does not know what it is seeing (luckly you told what it is) but it looks tasty 😋
Not to my knowledge. Unless it's like, hard candies or something that were in something else and I didn't realize it.
Breakfast this morning consists of a warm bagel with low-fat cream cheese, Madagascar vanilla tea with honey, and a freshly cut peach
😄❤
:D
this looks very tasty 😋
Tyyy
Take two at cherry bread, came out a lot better with a few tweaks
om nom
this is better
Yeah that's what I said lol
https://traderjoes.com/home/discover/guides/Oh-My-Gourd anyone else a trader joe's fan?
Can't find em here
ah well. i imagine they must appear insufferably obnoxious/hipster to those who don't have them in their area. but i can never resist all the weird and wonderful things they come up with/bring back around this time year
Ah mostly because they aren't in the netherlands hahahaha
We got a few chains, but not that one
ah
do any of them lose their minds with pumpkin flavored things this time of year? or is that firmly a US obsession
i pan fried up some polenta rounds and topped it with a pre-made pink bean salad
We do get the pumpkin spice latte at the Starbucks places, but beyond that I'm not sure
i have no clue what polenta is, but it looks tasty 😋
Polenta is, if I remember correctly coarse grain corn flour
It's easy to make into shapes
let the autumnal obsession commence
pumpkin spiiiiice 🤤
that's the plan
what's the food name? i forgot the name
that looks awesome
The rice has a hat
I haven't really seen much of it here, though maybe you have
i've seen it in Canada
but i think Strabucks might also have pumpkin spice
Canada's Tim Hortons is my fav source of pumpkin spice 😋
They do here, I've seen it in Rotterdam centraal, but beyond that uuhh
yeah i've seen it at a trainstation indeed xD
Me want pumpkin spice 😫
I think there was a time when starbuck have this pumpkin spice
But I didn't get it
Will try to find if there's another pumpkin spice theme later
i think these months (august-december or so?) is the months of pumpkin spice?
p much yeah
although i'm honestly more interested in the new starbucks drink that's supposedly like an apple pie in a cup this time around
I don't think it's a thing here in Indonesia (although I'm not sure since I'm not a big fan of starbuck), I only saw pumpkin spice theme once
The last time I drank peach starbuck and I'm surprised that I like it.
Apple pie!! 😍
haha, yup
Yeah we're back to making apple pies
Since our trees now drop their apples
We make french style at home
The apples sliced in thin slices
And nothing covering the top
Except a sprinkle of sugar
sounds divine
We also got something in the netherlands called appelflappen
The name is hilarious
It's puff pastry with sugar crystal on the outside, and cooked apple inside
I'm sure it's found outside the netherlands, but i don't know the name
internet seems to be calling them either apple beignets or fritters
👍
Maple Fudge with candied bacon.
...candied what ?😮
i'm not a fan of starbucks either :P but my country doesnt have a Tim Hortons, and i am a fan of Tim Hortons >v<
i am both curious and scared O.o
Salted caramel hot chocolate on a cool and rainy Sunday afternoon - oat milk, 85% single origin Ugandan chocolate, caramelized palm sugar syrup, sel gris.
i gotta show that to my boyfriend, he loves caramel :)
he loves it so much that if (salted) caramel is an option anywhere when we want to get something, he'll pick that one :P
and he says that i have caramel hair :P
I think salted caramel might be my most favorite flavor in the sweet category. I'd make that drink triple the size, just for me 😂
i know that feeling, thats why i have a massive cup in my home, for times i want a massive amount of tasty drink :P
i've known since childhood that i wanted a massive cup xD (my parents had 1 massive cup as well) so when i found one with a Canadian flag, i got it xD
I made a choco pudding pie with peanut butter and salted caramel 2 weeks ago, unfortunately, it was gone after I put it in fridge overnight to harden. (Thanks, bro)
Yess!!! I'm proud of my gigantic cup (which looks like a bowl 😋
and that salted caramel drink looks really tasty 😋 though i'd make it with normal milk (sorry, i have a grudge against milk replacements, i'll get over it one day 😅 )
oof, that sucks, having your food stolen like that 😅 you got to at least try some of it, riiiiight?
yisssss 😋 and after drinking that amount, i'll feel nauseated, but soooooo satisfied xD
Well... I licked some to taste
good, good :')
🥲
yea
if my siblings ate what i made before i could eat it myself, i'd be so upset :')
I once made a cake for my friend, and it was already eaten half by morning. The audacity of them telling me to just buy a new cake. Although it was with their money, but I especially made the cake myself for my best friend
I already told them that it was for my friend, but I guess they only paid attention to game
I would if I could😂
have a 'phase' in which you love food that are.... spicy 😏
them: CAKE :D NOM
them: 🔥o🔥
Lol, I was so mad I made them eat wasabi cookies
did it make them stop stealing your stuff at least for a while?
Nah... they just made sure to test taste the food I make
:c
...sibling 🥲
wait lemme think
can you afford a fridge? or is it the lack of space for a fridge in your bedroom?
I can afford a fridge, but I'm still living with my parents, so they would be mad with the additional, useless electricity bill
Well, I just gotta wait till I can live by myself
there is a model of tupperware with a lock in it
would not secure all foods you make, but at least some of the foods you make?
That would be a good way... I have to search for one
ohhh i remember the trick, it isnt only spicy, its also using laxatives
Maybe I'm just too soft, but my revenge is only by using bitter or spicy seasonings
I just can't bring myself to make someone sick
you might enjoy some revenge stories on Reddit about foodthieves :P
I was talking about this with my friend just now 😂
That's cool, but they're still in kickstarter... I hope they would make a bigger one, like, a cake size👍
Thanks for the link! I'm gonna kickstart it, hopefully they can quickly reach their goal and I can get my lockables 🥰
oh i absolutely agree :) bigger = better
also, my boyfriend and i had a cake battle :P it all started when he said 'im eating the cake without gf noticing', so i took bites out of what he wanted to eat. Then he gave me some as well, and we took turns taking bites, till i didnt let go of the plate anymore >:D
he chopped off a chunk with a (not sharp) knife xD
anyway, i hope the kickstarter goal will get achieved yea :)
so no-one will steal your foodies again >:D
i hope it isnt bad if i share an other link that i found: https://www.amazon.com/Konclusive-Container-Lockable-Securement-Tampering/dp/B07QCY2T1L
I was crying and my dad gave me some chocolate caramel cookies and I feel a lil better now
Oh wow that cookie looks like...uhh... something..... at first glance lol
i bet it tastes great :)
of course it's tastes great :)
I'm not entirely sure why seasalt caramel works as a flavour, you'd think sweet and salty wouldn't complement in a "dessert" flavour
Oh! Generally, 'salt' gets thrown into umami in theory of flavours type things. It makes sense, since flavors from different profiles tend to balance one another or enhance each other. You see it a lot with East Asian cuisines and their related sauces/soups. Spicy/Sour, Sweet/Sour, Sweet/Spicy etc. Throw in some mushrooms or on a meat (or add msg) for some great umami balance.
oh yeah balances between flavors is often a great thing with foods
if something is purely sweet, it can be... too much
which is why i often cant stand honey, because it can be overwhelmingly sweet, it is literally only sweet, and often it is considered 'better quality' if the sweet is extra sweet
the same way that i love lemon icecream, sour sweet, love it, and it is very refreshing 😋
and the same way i dont like to buy milkshakes at fast food places, it is mostly sweet with a flair of flavor of whatever flavor you ordered. If i make milkshakes at home, i use very little sugar with whatever i make often
I'm a very stickler with sea salted caramel.... If it's not salty enough, I don't like it.
If I'm looking for a salty-sweet combo, I really want a suckerpunch of salt, not a tickle XD
my boyfriend loves most caramel things :)
If you want to try 'sweet and salty' flavor, try using choco spread with shredded cheese on a toast!
Erm
Granted in Brazil I did eat a sweet pizza
Which was a chocolate spread smarties and other things pizza
On the note of pizza, it is one of the reasons why pineapple on pizza works as a flavour pair. (Though dehydrated pineapple slice "pepperoni" are superior)
My go to pizza is BBQ sauce, cheese, red onion, pineapple, and Italian sausage. Sometimes green bell peps. Love pineapple on everything though
in pizzarias here there's a whole section just for sweet pizza
there's a pork banh mi pizza i want to try, but i haven't committed to it yet
How amusing, over here you'd have a harder time finding sweet pizzas
The pizza talk made me want one so did one on flatbread. Grew the tomato myself, overall came out well
Wish I had fresh cilantro to put on it though
im scared now xD
well made pizza there :)
so yesterday i got a watermelon
and then spend hours making stuff outta it
but still had more than half left after having run out of time
:')
Thanks!
Get some Tajin seasoning to toss on it! Much yum!
i have no clue what Tajin seasoning is :-3
Another way to taste sweet and salty is using ham on melon, or salt on watermelon. There are a lot of varieties of this delightful combination of flavors ❤️
salt on watermelon 💯
agreed with you
In Indonesia we have Rujak, a fruit dish with sweet & spicy peanut sauce~
You also use corn in desserts.
Yeah we have Jasuke (jagung susu keju) XD
I see milk and cheese* and I don’t want to know the first word….
i'm both scared and intrigued by the suggestions
cheese and milk? i think that's a good combo
Yeah.
Jasuke sounds like a corn version of Mac and cheese
I need to google this
Oh. Condensed milk
That sounds like such a foreign dish. Corn, condensed milk and cheese.
Yeah that's the sweet version of Jasuke, we also have salty version, with corn, cheese, mayo & chili sauce
man, i kinda wish we all lived in the same street, so that we could try each others dishes, without ingredient confusion we seem to have here
Yesss, try it, steamed sweet corn, condensed milk, and cheese, add chili sauce if you want, and taste the wonder!
chili = spicy?
Yeap!
Condensed milk is such an odd thing
nervously looking around her (i cant handle spicy at all :P)
Although the chili sauce here usually is blended with garlic
that does make it sound less scary
i've used condensed milk for sweet things only till now, like cookie dough icecream, and i think for some kind of cake or something 🤔
but the only condensed milk i'm used to is very sweet condensed milk
Ahh, that ice cream recipe with condensed milk and heavy cream, right?
Yes, condensed milk is very sweet
i gotta look it up where i found it, then i can share it here
So that's why you should use it sparringly
yep, whipped cream, condensed milk, vanilla, and an eggfree cookie dough recipe (cuz no baking the cookie dough, but freezing cookie dough)
oh and chocolate chips in the cookie dough
Yeah, I watched a youtube vid about using condensed milk and heavy cream to basically make all kinds of ice cream flavor
Without ice cream machine!!!
its a short recipe, so i'll translate it real quick, here goes
500 ml whipping cream (not yet whipped)
1 can of condensed milk (397 grams)
3 teaspoons vanilla paste/3 teaspoons vanilla extract/the inside of 1 vanilla cane
cookie dough (with chocolate chip)
first, make cookie dough
whip cream till stiff, add condensed milk and vanilla, and stir with a spatula into equal mixture
make tiny balls of cookie dough, carefully stir them through with spatula, you dont want the ice mixture to get thin.
Pour it in a box with a lit (word of advice from me, do a thin layer, it is hard to scoop out after it freezes), put the lit on it, freeze for 6 hours
their idea is to thaw it out for 15 minutes before serving for scooping the icecream
on an other note, i made strawberry jelly, cuz i was looking for gelatin in the grocery store and noticed the strawberry jelly, so i got it :P
it is still hardening, i just put it in the fridge, so 2 more hours of waiting at least, and then time to dig in 😋
I'm late to this but the sweet corn thing sounds fairly similar to the southern US dish of Corn Pudding, which is delicious
In the Philippines we have something called Mais Con Yelo, and it's a sweet drink of Cream of Corn, Shaved Ice, Evaporated Milk (I just do Oat Milk and Sugar), and Pinipig (which is flattened toasted rice; alternatively can use corn flakes) on top. Made some the other day and it was sooo good.
My S/O is Filipino and when I went to his aunt's place she fed me corn and cheese ice cream which I was terrified of but it ended up being delicious. Tasted like cream cheese and sweet corn which you hardly noticed in it
Take the corn intense staring with spoon
The shaved ice and evaporated milk sounds like the Korean bingsoo/bingsu, I had it in Korea and that stuff was p h e n o m e n a l
Yessssss that's really good
i forgot that the red berries are sour
i honestly forgot
i feel stupid now xD
i got some on discount
and i was like 'hmmmm i hate paying for berries when my parents have them for free, but discount, ok lets do that'
and i ate one, and was like 'yisss gooooooood 😋 '
and a few other ones
and i went like 'well it is pretty sour, like you know, very sour'
so now im having them in powdered sugar >:D
in India they have a dessert called rasgulla sooooooooo good
Breakfast
Loving the pacman dessert looking thing
Cherry moouse on chocolate
Chocolate, pretty sure
Yes, it's white chocolate with yellow food coloring.
This is a Tiramisu in a coffee mug made of chocolate.
I ate the handle off that one, this is what it looked like before.
how did you make it? it is so round, all chocolate bowls i've made are 'baking paper over a bowl, pour the chocolate, let it cool, peel off the baking paper and hope it doesnt break'
you make art with food 🤤 😋
honestly, i am impressed with this one

Breakfast time.
Close-up of the Maple Bacon Cupcake.
Bacon with chocolate?
no.
It's Candied Bacon with chocolate:
https://www.seriouseats.com/pig-candy-candied-bacon-grilling
thank you >v<
i love the channel How to cook that, and their debunking videos are also really really awesome :) i've made their lavacakes several times (but the liquid chocolate does not stay liquid)
Your oven may run a little hot. It's normal for them to be up to 20 degrees Fahrenheit off. Try reducing the temperature by 5 degrees Fahrenheit.
i measure in celcius, but i've noticed my oven is a bit hot indeed. I take the cakes out sooner than the recipe suggests, and i love them without the lava effect as well xD
An oven thermometer might help with that, I move mine around periodically to check bc my oven is off by 50°F
You always have the best stuff! Now when i eat anything it just looks so boring lol
oohh i thought is just that bacon 🥓. my bad.
Chicken-bacon-ranch casserole heck yeah! 😄
oh man
