Yeah AstraZeneca is the vector one (I am not a scientist but I have read up a bit so sorry if I get smth wrong hah) while the other two are RNA, which makes them especially effective.

AstraZeneca is supposedly not as effective as the other two, especially in older patients, so Germany has been considering changing the plan and just using the doses we have of AstraZeneca on younger people, even if they don't fall into the higher priority categories.

I would leap at the chance to get it too. Parents are 72 and 65 respectively. Healthy, of course, hence not a risk group but I still worry for them. I live in a much lower-infection area in my state and I would love to have the chance to contribute at least somewhat to their protection beyond just not seeing my family at all.

I once went to the "Eye doctor" and they said something was wrong with my sight, but I was a teenager and they said I probably didn't want glasses so they sent me away. I have no clue if I could have better eyesight than I have or not, but I can't say I have any issues with my sight (although I would assume I am so used to it that I wouldn't notice without trying with/without glasses)

I was actually a severe case where a corneal donor is the last resort to correct my vision. So if our condition is still onn the mild side, you should definitely check them out and takke precautions so that it's not getting worse.

I've gone to a neurologist and all tests came back normal, I've recently gone to an optical store at the mall to get new glasses thinking my eyesight might be the problem. Other than the fact that my prescription increased, I don't think they found anything wrong.

When I had it originally they just have me some anti nausea medication but looking back now I probably should have had something else like antibiotics or something

When I would have the dizzy spells originally I got sent everywhere and they told me i would grow out of it. Which I haven't. I just avoid things that I for certain know trigger it and then the rest is left to chance.

Coming into this late but not know the full extent of everything, has anyone ever talked to you about POTS or Cataplexy? Those are both things that cause dizziness and a lack of control over body feelings. Like you're so exhausted you can't think or feel...normal? There's a lot of things sadly that comes to diagnosing problems because so many medical conditions have the same symptoms so its a very big trial and error testing process to figure out a chronic condition. And expensive depending where you are :/ i stopped being able to afford medical care years ago and have to just put up with my stuff. But for POTS any change in position (laying down-sitting-standing) causes blood to pool into my legs and instantly shoots up my blood pressure almost causing blackouts and even having my vision completely black over (i could still hear everything around me so idk if I was ever actually "out") when it was really bad, also a massive increase in heart rate. For Cataplexy I have it without narcolepsy (supposedly rare) and for me when its bad it can cause my body to paralyze for a fee minutes before it lets go (fell face first into the floor once) but the "norm" of it now is when its tripping me up is by making me feel like I have no balance and I constantly have to brace against a wall or backpeddle a few steps to keep myself upright. Someone also mentioned vertigo as a possibility. Just because you or anyone reading this don't line up specifically with all or some of the symptoms doesn't always mean you dont have it. If you want to write those names down maybe when you go back to a doc to ask maybe they can test for those. There are loads of different things it could be but those are some things that might lead to a diagnoses of something.

Also noting that with cataplexy it gets worse the more tired I am. It can go from slightly swaying to completely feeling like I'm falling through the world even if im lying down.

It is :/ but do remember that when they can't "find something" it is also ruling out something else. Just takes time >.> but there are loads of people who don't have 'exact' symptoms and still have the condition or something similar in that case they try to treat the symptoms and if you end up with a doc who doesn't want to look for something. Second opinion their butt. I had to with one of my gastro docs back when I first being diagnosed in highschool and that old fart wouldn't listen to me. Went elsewhere and found for the time a doc that would listen.

Yeah I used to work from home but when we had to put our dog down last year (she was 15 so she had a good life, got to do it at home too) i needed a change and got the first job i could. Its physically demanding but i just needed a change and now its not permanent but it did give me eye and dental insurance so I can get that checked out. Medical insurance is pointless for me because along with all the copays it'll just shove me back into the debt I was before and i just don't see a point to it anymore.

Yeah i do prefer less intense games cause I have bad anxiety. Even with portia i become tense haha. You could only imagine how I’d be with high intensity games. I think I’d pass out.
