Who are your favorites? Mine personally is X-olotl with watermelon axe

So there is a mismatch in the description. As far as i know, you need to explode more than 6 pome (the exact amount will be announced soon after the team fixed it) 🥺 so we can say it bugged yaaa 🙏🏻

so I have this quest about 1/2 life to survive a run

so I have 2 out of 7 life and successfully finish the run but the quest didnt clear

do I have to spent my revives 1st then maintain the 1/2 life?

or mainting half life with revives still works but its bugged?

For this quest, the “1/2 life” means you need to finish the run (defeat the final boss) with your HP at half.

Having revives or not doesn’t affect it, both work the same 😊

Also thank you for the advice; any suggestions for the really high HP bosses on higher difficulties so the boss battle doesn't take another 20 minutes?

For the high HP bosses, the key is to keep dealing consistent damage while staying safe. You can use skills that help you avoid getting hit, like Dash or Midnight Ghost, and Primal Leap is also useful for dodging attacks.

That said, boss fights on higher difficulties can take quite a while. Around 20 minutes in a run is pretty normal.

Oof, 20 minutes for a boss fight feels a bit excessive to me. Not because of difficulty, but it just feels like such a slog to get through their HP. The escalating difficulty at those specific marks on their HP bar is great, but doesn't offset the time taken. Just my take, tho.

I think I’ve managed to beat a boss in under 10 minutes at Frozen Pond before (if I remember correctly). I used an “untouchable” kind of build without Fire Curse. You could try using Shockwave, Boulder Bonk, and Leafblade, and for mobility, Midnight Ghost works really well.

I love purple and I love moths, so Fuzzbug is easily my favorite.

On an unrelated note, I learned that the leafblades can have a wagon-wheel effect if you get enough and they move fast enough. Also Fuzzbug with mirror double is busted because of the pixies.

Groovba has to be my favorite of the Shroombas, since I tend to favor debuffs in my runs and the extra chance at health drops cushions my recklessness. Unfortunately, I hate sitting still, so Joomba is my least favorite.

Sometimes I underappreciate the value of quickcast. I got the savage fists’ cooldown to 0.24 seconds with quickcast on top of it. Nonstop punches.
Edit: 0.24 seconds WITHOUT quickcast on top. Quickcast obviously made it even faster.

Holy smokes, I never choose the clap mutation because the cooldown timer never seemed worth it. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it here!
