HOW TO COPY SAVE FILE OR COPY BACKUP SAVE FILE.

• this is useful if you wanna branch your save file, like savescumming, marry different people, or you wake up and you don't like your day and you wanna go back to yesterday.

• this is my way and it works, and everyone has a different directory. my directory is different than what the dev told us, but you can search using my way I think it works too.

1. first I search PROJECTCORAL in my pc. it will take a while. it will direct you to steam one and local one, choose the local folder one.

2. you will have the 'SAVED' folder. I personally copy that folder to desktop (create shortcut) to ease me whenever I need it. if you wanna copy your latest savefile, just search for the latest savefile (by the clock), for example if your last playing was 21 nov 2023 19.30 is named DailySave_1, copy that save file and rename to DailySave_2.

3. if your last playing is summer 15 by the SaveFile_1, but you wanna get back to summer 14, search in a backup folder.

4. the backup folder is the subfolder (inside) of the 'saved' folder. search the date and time that matches your log before the latest, for example if you're just done playing at 20.30 but you logged off (or done playing) before at 19.30, and it matches to SaveBackup_1_4, copy and rename it like no 2 to the 'saved' folder. the backup savefile will help much more if you regularly log out to desktop tho.

basically- i'm making a massive post about this in bugs to argue points about this issue- but the best way to plant the trees right now is- plant the tree first and then fill in around it leaving the 3x3 space directly around the tree empty

Is it because all your items count as "artisan" and not as different items?

I think diversity refers to how many of the categories you have: flowers, vegetables, fruits, artisan items, coop products, barn products (and I noticed in my playthrough that grains also count as a separate category)

I think it's 6 points per category, and you only had one category. He had 2 categories (artisan and flowers), so he got 12 points.

But 6 points is not worth it if you have lower sale value items. You can get way more points from a high value items that you put two of than the extra 6 points you get for diversity.

A regular melon, not even bronze or silver, is like 25 points. So don't put a different item in if it's not at least 19 points. I don't have the full points list by heart, but yeah

the highest is 25 points for over 400 coins.

how to avoid bug and crash while decorating the shed:

1. if you put a decor on the floor and on the wall right behind it, one of them will vanish. if you put on the floor first, then on the wall, decor on the floor will vanish and vice versa. if you put 3-5 decorations on the floor with the ones on the wall side by side, 1 of them will vanish. do not put the decoration like so unless you're okay that one of them is gone.

2. if you try to fix no 1 by the decor mode (picking the invisible decor, deleting, putting a new decor on the same place) you either won't be able to click or pick, or it will crash.

3. there's a tiny chance that your wall decor can overlap, for example a window can overlap with a lamp. don't try it even by mistake, it will crash (even without decor mode).

4. you can use decor mode just fine for those aside of no 1-3 (for example me, I use decor mode to put the floor decors on the hallway).

I personally decorated 3 sheds in 9 days in game, because I separated the shopping days and the decor days (so if it crashed I'm not upset). but to my experience if you avoid no 1-3 it will be just fine and you can decor in 1 day.

Something i discovered is that if you miss the tree planting festival, mayor connor will cancel it and everyone will be mad at you the next day. Has anyone else experienced this with the other festivals? Im curious, I'd love to see if the passive aggressive dialog changes depending on the festival - is the beach cleanup more important than the cherry blossom festival, for instance?

Hm, that sucks. I enjoy being further in the game, starting from scratch is always so annoying to me because I don’t have any hearts with anyone, my tools don’t work as fast and I’m slower than usual, and everything is just…idk, boring after the first time for me xD
It’s easier to get used to the change of the tools moving faster or your character’s speed changing, but the minute you don’t have that, everything becomes so weird 😂
