I’m hoping they change that because Novita said that the npcs that you can not give gifts or increase your relationship are not romance-able and will be added to a separate list but we can do all that with Antonio. I like how different peeps do farming different.

My farm is has a natural feel to it. I have a Maple Syrup & Nutty Sap farm below my primary field and my honey field.

I also have machinery and long seasonal plants (like tomatoes and peppers) to the left and then a wood production to the left of that again.

Below the machinery and long life plants, I've got my mini ranch that currently only consists of 2 cows and 2 sheep.

Each section defined here is seperated by stone walls.

Im the same way, though because the farms get more and more productive im constantly rearranging.

i had four rows of 8 tier 2 sprinklers but i decided to go a different direction for my fall production. I was going to go with just bulk crop selling supported by artisan products but i decided to change it. I now have 3 rows of 6 tier 2 sprinklers so my crop yield will be less BUT i am setting up lots of artisan machines so i can get the most of what crops i harvest, Off to the left side of the farm im going to have 3 animal pens, 3 for normal cows, 3 for normal chickens to make artisan stuff, and finally below all of this im going to have grass lands i can harvest to stock up on hay for the winter.

Well tis not even the amount of animals, its more about my OCD. When the auto feeders and petters come in i wont miss any animals so i can keep everything syncronized.

You can take care of them inside or if you just let them out they are eating, give them a min to finish eating and they will wander and spread out to roam. When you let animals outside they go right to a spot to eat, if t here is only a couple of sources..in case the grass right there in the picture they will all head to that spot to eat and end up clumping. I recommend placing lots of grass around to give lots of options for feeding, they will be more likely to spread out. I do this every morning, i let all of my animals out of the barns and coops (and i have ALOT of animals) while they are eating ill tend to my crops and other chores, then by the time i go back they are usually done eating and all wandering the animal yard. This trick works inside too on the days you cant let them out, place the hay in the troughs and it will get them to move over to eat, giving you chances to tend to them as they move and it makes sense. Rule 1:Feed them first and i think you will find them alot more cooperative lol.

spoiler for update ||so couple ways for this once this drops. if you get the rare gems altar done, you get a replicator and then you need to donate 275 items and you get the ore/kelp and can replicate.

this was just added today, there is a transmutation machine you'll get access to you and you can now use it for kelp and ore.
so 3 silver kelp = 1 gold kelp and then 3 gold kelp = 1 osmium kelp.

it'll take forever but it can be done now :D||

i'm going to strongly recommend you horde your slime LOL

It just takes a huge amount of monster kills to move the level up. Starts out at about 80 killed to do one level - each level (I believe) requires more than the preceding one to advance so as you move up levels it gets harder to reach the next level.

I heard that wolf spider is the rarest bug in the CI. if you run around to find it it's more likely you only seen once in 4 years. but with the trap, you could get 3 in each random day. black widow, tarantula, and roove beetle are harder to find with traps than if you casually walk around

but yeah extra drop is different- hit drop means you're just getting whatever main source is - so if you hit a rock you could get an extra rock- if you hit an osmium ore stone, you might get an extra osmium or 2 before you bust open the rock

rare drop is ok- extra just gives more (i spent like 40 hours playing with and compairing the enchantements for those 2)

You need to let them out. Make sure there’s grass for them. Pigs will produce truffle in 2 days in-game time

Growing grass is great because it means you don’t use your hay as much. The animals will eat the grass when you let them out and then only eat the bay on rain/snow days.
