Hi I'm new to joycontrol and Linux in general but when I attempt to start my pro controller im given these lines in response

Hey, I don't personally use joycontrol, but be sure to check the pinned messages of #joycontrol and the #1020042420882247773 post for how to set it up properly.

I downgraded my hid by running
sudo pip uninstall hid
sudo pip install hid==1.0.4
If im remembering correctly thats all I ended up doing and then joycontrol was able to start correctly
