#Can we use Sentry's GitHub Developer Student Pack offer for commercial projects?

ToS doesn't have any clause that restricts commercial usage, so yes, you can.
In this page, at the bottom, it shows you can't use this if you make profit, can a staff member confirm your answer? Just want to make sure
A confirmation would be good, but the FAQ below just says that an organization can't apply to either non-profits or open-source program if they make profit.
My interpretation is that student plan doesn't really apply here, well, because a company won't be able to apply for the student plan.
I somehow got linked to this page from For Students page, so a confirmation would be good as you said, I'll just wait
Contact support. They will be able to provide you with details or forward your question to legal. You are in a community Discord and mostly engineering hangs around here. Not many people that will be able to provide a definitive answer. Go through the official channels if you want an official answer 🙂
As for an unofficial answer, most of the time these grants are for educational and personal uses. So any commercial project is probably off limits. Probably also why it's linked to /for/good/.
But again, ask through official channels for an official answer on this 😉
I couldn't find a contact page, can you link me to a contact email/page?
Do keep me updated because when I first signed up for sentry, people are using student benefit for "commercial purposes". I haven't use it outside of personal projects but it's still good to know if I were to start one.
