Theres a couple I've been experiencing. Sometimes the ships aren't spawning on landing pads so people log out but the game doesn't despawn whatever they've tried to spawn so your ship just sits in an unending queue. The other one is when I try to sell my salvaged materials my ship has either A) not been able to load its inventory or B) Exploded off-screen somewhere.

It's been about 3 weeks since I last tried to log in and play though

Its very poorly optimized. Upping to 32GB of RAM helped for me. Another couple guys in my org said screw it and went to 64GB lol.

New sub-patch update came out that fixed some of the issues players were having. That's why more people were playing. Generally, SC has been very popular lately. And that's continuing to increase.

Waaay longer. Try 10 - 11 years. Buuut, it should be noted that the company really almost didn't exist back then. Development began in 2013 really. It didn't get a solid start until 2015-16. And it wasn't until late 2018 early 2019 that development really was in a good spot with man power and consistent updates.

@pastel tiger I have a referral code that'll get anyone who uses it an additional free ship to keep (with basic $40 USD game purchase). Yeah, texturing is fun when you're not pulling your hair out trying to figure out what goes where with a new pack.

The galaxy mats I bought had 4 separate steps to applying them to the project alone.
Then you have to choose the object you want to texture, then choose 4 different things on the material to make it more custom.

You will most likely get fear of ocean and stuff after playing for a while, reaper leviathans, ghost leviathans and some other things that lurk in deep scared me good when I met them in game for 1st time

I need some advice. I'm going to buy a gaming PC and I need to know if a better CPU or a better GPU is more important. I will be playing games like TerraTech, From the Depths, and Scrap Mechanic which are very physics-intensive. But I'm also planning on playing VRChat and maybe Neos VR which are more graphics intensive (questionmark?)? (I have my price range going up to $1600 (USD) but I can consider stretching it to ~$2000 if necessary. Looking on Amazon and maybe BestBuy.)

It’s an M2 MacBook Pro 13” 2022 with 24GB of memory. The M2 chip (combined CPU and GPU) has 4 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores and uses the arm64 architecture. The memory card is a 24GB LPDDR5 type manufactured by Hynix. Is can run From the Depths and TerraTech with only occasional minor lag spikes as long as I don’t turn up the graphics settings too much. It can also run modded Terraria without any issues as long as I don’t fight a certain boss from a certain mod.

I would try if possible to get at least:
AMD Ryzen 5800X3D (Does really well in VR/VRChat)
or AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Series if you wish to go to DDR5. Please get higher than 5600MHz DDR5 RAM.

16GB of ram or higher.

Either:
AMD 6950 XT or above (7900 XT - XTX)
Nvidia RTX 4070 or above

Currently I have a 5800X3D and it's perfect. I'm soon upgrading my RTX 3070 which is struggling with it's 8GB of VRAM. Upgrading to a 6950 XT or 7900 XT. Much better performance and higher VRAM.

Although If I could afford it I would get a RTX 4080.

Just means having lighthouses in corners of the room, but then you can upgrade to full body tracking

Yeah the quest isn't the best, Mine was always blurry and just meh.

Unable to adjust the IPD to my exact eyes was the issue.

I’ve played Blade & Sorcery on the quest 2, the limitations, poor ergonomics, and the inability to mod it resulted in an overall “meh” experience.
