Yes it's the same quality. I got it from the discord files so it's the original used by discord. It's not too loud it just sounds distorted doesn't matter which volume. It seems to be the same problem with all the sounds I play through the soundboard. Always sounds like the quality drops. If I hear the sound through Voicemod itself (this means having "Mute for me" disabled) the quality is good. The drop in quality seems to happen when I play the sound anywhere else than in Voicemod itself (Discord, Teamspeak, Ingame etc.). I'm using V2 btw.
After some more testing today I found out that the quality is only way worse in discord. In Audacity for example there is no noticeable drop in quality. The drop in quality in Teamspeak is barely noticeable but in discord its very bad.

@frail jewel I haven't fully started usingV2 yet but in V1 I haven't experienced loss in quality. I have noticed with V2 there is a bug when playing Sound clips the app uses 3x more ram then it uses in V1. I currently set the sound board app to around 10 - 15% and turned the boop sound down to 20%

Macro key don't have an ascii key value (I think it is that), so they can't be used for that. You should use the software that come with the peripheral to setup those key (you can use others F key, as F13)

However I did just install a new update so it could be fixed now

The soundboard should have an option to reorder sounds. press a button to enter reorder mode where no sounds will be played and you can click and drag them then exit reorder mode to use your soundboard as normal

For example, instead of having a single sound per button, I could play a random reaction sound from a folder or selection per button. Hey all, feel free to redirect me if this is the wrong place to troubleshoot: I'm running the most recent version of the Beta, and the VoiceMod aspect works fine in Discord, but nobody can hear anything from my soundboard. I've checked my inputs and outputs; everything looks fine. But they don't hear anything when I play something from the soundboard.

Thanks @cedar stone ! I did already check that. It turned out the sound clips were so short and unnuanced (bird squawks and chirps, for roleplaying an aarakocra in D&D) that Discord was registering them as background noise. When I asked folks to scale back their background noise cancellation, it worked fine.

also the easiest way to create a sound clip since it needs to be a supported file would be to save the vid or the part of the video you want to use then import it into audacity ( free ) edit it to how you want it then export as mp3

even going through the like 7 sounds I put on is tedious when 50 is too high of a default

Yeah, the soundboard sounds aren't working for me either, unfortunately. No one can hear them.
Output/Input are the same, and people can hear my regular voice. Nothing on the Soundboard though.

go to the windows task manager, find the voicemod task (you might have to scroll down a little) and end the task @robust raptor

@robust raptor No, don't end the task in task manager. You shouldn't do that with any program unless it's completely unresponsive. You can close Voicemod by right clicking the icon on the right on your taskbar.

Probably because all the programs you use grab the default communication device, rather then the default device. It's still advised to also set it as default device for any application that does not do this

That means that you have Discords sensitivity too high. I recommend putting it at 99dB (not 100, because then you'll be continually broadcasting), and only using Voicemods 'Reduce Background Noise' feature.
