also shame people don't make voices of like real life people... like known people... or just some generally cool sounds... since mostly it's just star wars and other characters like that

Well, there's a simple answer for that: for real voices it's called an "impression", there's no way to make voicemod voices for that with voicelab since it can only add effects on top of your voice or bend the pitch at most, also everyone's voice is different, so if I make a voice for me to sound like x or y actor, it wouldn't work on you at all...
The only good way to sound like someone else is looking for a voice that already somehow matches your pitch, how raspy it is, voice color, or other factors; then learn to emulate it and practice every day until you get it. There are a ton of cool tutorials on the matter and with a decent mic that's not broken or muffled you could get pretty far, I'm always glad for the possibility of more people joining the voice acting community 🙂

your not too smart are ya, bale has a smooth deep voice thats what the voice mod does, basically its a crutch it helps but it doesnt do the whole job. its your job to figure out the speech patterns of the character. however the voice mod can make your voice deeper and maybe a couple other things. ergo no its not all voice acting

Debatable, but I will completely support you if you can manage a voice that resembles Christian Bale's Batman using Voicemod 🙂
On the other hand, I've been a V/A for a couple years now and there's something software can't get just yet and that's a human feel (some preview tests for new voices have been amazing so far tho, keep an eye on any news). Good luck!

Hmm, that's a good question, though I'd say it highly depends on two main things: 1. Your mic (you EQ each mic differently) 2. Which song you'd wanna sing (some are dry, some have a little reverb, some have a lot of it and others add delay that has to go according to the tempo)

I typically have a high pass at 20% mix and reverb at 75% saturation with 10% mix

But that's for that I sing. (Elvis, Sinatra, Geoff, Hollens, etc.)

Well there is a noise reduction setting if you click the speaker icon on the bottom-right corner, but there's also a passive noise gate that depends on the volume of your mic. I'd typically just use that with mic's volume at ~80-90% and works like a charm 🙂

That depends a lot on the mic (quality, bitrate, reception, diaphragm size, if it's a lavalier mic, the shape of the reception aka cardioid/shotgun/omni/8/if it's dynamic), acoustics and your voice
I'd recommend just looking for some tutorials according to the type of mic you have :P

Hey! If like you said you already can do the voice acting, I'm guessing your question goes more for the pitch factor, since sometimes forcing it doesn't work or sounds too noticeably... well... forced. In the voicelab give "pitch" or "double pitch" a try with a setting of between +1 and +15, 100% mix and disabling the "humanize" toggle (this is just to help a bit, not completely changing your voice since that'd make it sound too robotic); also make sure that if you're using double pitch you have to keep both at the exact same level otherwise it'd sound demonic lol (double pitch works better than the normal one only in some cases, use the one that fits best in your opinion), and give them a tiny bit of high pass to hide the bass of a male-ish voice. Else, you could wait for the upcoming voices (no ETA that I know of :P), I'm sure there are a couple you're going to love!

I've been researching on the topic and Hazbin Hotel's "God" doesn't really have an official voice since it's only a comic and they didn't get an appearance in the short movie, there are some attempting to give them a voice like in the video you sent but it's mostly just fan-made. That means you're free to construct any voice you want for the character in the time being...

That said, of you want specifically the voice from that video I'd say it's doable within Voicemod with the help of voice acting, though I'm not at home at the moment. I'll still give it a try:

Pitch: 100% mix, 40% effect. (Humanize toggle off)
Delay: 45% mix, 50% fade out, 50% time
Reverb: 75% mix, 80% room size.

There are ways to train your voice to go lower, but if you got the voice down but not the lower pitch, try a tiny bit of the pitch change. But careful, too much will make it sound unnatural. Even a small bit makes it feel less natural.

Since Voicemod can't keep one single Note but has multiple parts of a Key, you'd have to hold on to that G Note manually with your own voice like so. You'd also have to change the way you pronounce the words to have that Portamento effect the original has.

I'd say you're better off just getting a little far from your mic to sound like that or aiming to an opposite direction from it.

The sense of distance is divided by many factors, but you'd probably want to emphasize 3 of them:

• Reverb (the further away, the more the sound bounces)
• Quality (the further away, the less detail you can hear in a voice, a high pass would help since the lower frequencies are the ones that get lost the easiest)
• Volume (the further away, the quieter)

I wish that sort of function was doable in Voicemod right now, but I don't think it is. You can try and use VST Plugins like "Glitch 2" or something with Virtual Cable Routing, but it takes a little time and is a semi-risky thing to do as it caused me issues with Voicemod for a little while after using it. I think that bug got patched, but it is a complicated process, so if you want to try it, it's up to you. It's cool if you do get it to work, to be honest.

It's never going to sound very realistic though, don't forget you're using software and that has limitations of it's own
