I really hope that I am on the right chat page for this, but I was wondering if anyone has done any voice mods for some of the different races of the Mass Effect Universe? I am DMing my own D&D campaign in the ME universe, but I am new to voicemod and having trouble getting a few of the voices right. At the moment, I am stuck on the Turian voice. Briggsy: It's a woman voice, you could work with a humanised pitch-shifting, voice acting is the key to this one.
Graymarrow: Male gruff voice, similar to how to speak like an ork (Warhammer), you can use pitch-shifting to get the deepness, but mostly voice acting and achievable by voice acting infact.
Gold Hoarder: Rough male voice, pitch shift down to help, another voice acting thing. Small amount of reverb could help. There needs to be a quick voice repeation option added to make it work better.
Captain Flameheart: Rough male voice, pitch shift down to help. Get some bass. Try to sound demonic kinda, voice acting is key.

I'm wondering if someone has made a decent anime girl voice already, not sure what settings to use in the voicelab to get a desired result. but the default man to woman 2 isn't that good. I want to use a voice that can match my profile pic, if that makes sense. I'm aware for most of the custom voices to be that convincing you have to at least put some effort into voice acting, but I kind of have 3 roommates so thats not happening. I found a few custom settings that could be pretty convincing if I did voice act, the voice was probably made with acting in mind, but I need a setting that works best without any acting at all sadly.

I do wonder if its possible to eliminate the robotic effect you get when trying to use a female voice, a friend of mine was saying they believe it could sound much better if you let the program process your voice a little longer and then change it. Like adding a 0.2 second delay between when you spoke, and when the voice changer played your changed voice. It wouldn't truly be a real time voice changer anymore, but if a little delay could really make a difference i'd love to see it.
