Is there any way to copy one of the preset voices into voicelab and then edit them from there? I want to use a variant of the "Zombie" preset without that echo effect. Sadly the options on the right (when Zombie's active) don't change the echo.
And if that doesn't work, does someone know, which settings give you that deep, gruff voice? I can't seem to get the right mix myself and the other presets, like Titan, also lack that gruff.

Hey, I'm trying to create a great dragon voice for D&D. Something along the lines of Smaug (the one voiced by Benedict Cucumberbumber). However, I still have to speak with a low tone and add a lot of gravel myself to get it to sound good (I'm a male tenor, btw)
This is kind of hell on my throat. Anyone have any suggestions to make it closer to the Smaug voice? Thanks 🙂

@Genesis the best way that I know of is to just go through and micromanage different settings while listening to yourself. I've found that using a recording program like Audacity to record me testing helps fine tune voices quite a bit.
That being said, a lot of their effects give a robot sounding voice for some reason

Right, well that's really disappointing. A discord room that allows the sharing of custom voices AND people's comments isn't really going to work. It should be mod approved links to Reddit posts on a Voicemod subreddit with two reaction emotes for thumbs up or down and all discussion per voice should take place on the Reddit page for that voice so there's a history of discussion.

If you use the Drone voice, and set Stereo, Intelligible, and Mix all to 42, you can get a very passable Marvin the Paranoid Android from the original H2G2 radio and tv series.

Tweaking with equalizer is almost always dependent of the specific microphone and the user's voice, so somebody else can't just easily create the perfect voice for you

Vocoders are not auto tunes, they are songs that control the tones, i want actual auto tune where it automatically matches your voice to the closest pitch.
also voicetune sounds horrible to me, for some reason the pitch shifts so much even tho i let out 1 solid tone without variation

You have a good idea of what Voicemod's functionalities are, so it's confusing why you'd ask if realtime autotune is something it can do. I can't see it ever doing what you want at its current price point outside of it opening itself up to third party $$ plugins.
