I don't know if this is the right spot to post this, so I apologize in advance if not!

I would like to use Voicemod to duplicate the voice effect used by the character Richard in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. (See link for reference. He is the man speaking on the screen.) I am particularly interested in the deep echoes that enhance his regular voice. I will be using it for an NPC in D&D.

If anyone knows what this effect is called or can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated!

Since Goblin Voices are usually just a slightly higher pitch than a regular voice, just a 5 point increase on Power Pitch will do the trick. The rest like adding rasp and certain accents, that's all VA.

Well it needs to be tweaked for everyone’s voice. The issue we have is in the actual game they do a what seems to be a double layer. One with the heavy effect and one without. So we hear more of the actors voice vs zen where the effect is a lot stronger. I always say that the effects I create will need to be adjusted for the individual. Maybe adjust the mix and see how it goes. Like I said I’m still working on Ram so it’s not perfect.

To make a voice changer for replicating a characters voice everybody makes it so they sound like that character

No one voice changer will make everyone sound exactly like a character with zero alterations

Exactly. I am a voice actor and while characters like roadhog, reaper and zen are in my range. Rein, Winston, Sigma aren’t within my range. If I had someone who could do Ramattra’s voice I’d probably be able to get it very close to. But due to me not being able to do it it makes it hard to get the effect just right. It’s why I suggest with say my reaper, roadhog and zen that people adjust the double pitch so it fits they’re voice. Overwatch uses ALOT of double pitch in they’re voice effects. And getting that right is the first step.

The mac version does not (but it's in beta). I don't know about the windows version (I don't have windows). There might be an update button (or a toggle) in the Voicemod settings. If not, just download the latest version and instal it.

his accent is entirely voice acting based... as i'd say the rest of his voice is. if your voice isn't deep enough, i'd recommend powerpitch to what you think is right. but other than that, there's nothing much that can be done

his speech patterns and mannerisms are the main aspect of the voice, as well as the fact that it's kinda muffled. if you want to experiment, i'd say powerpitch (if your voice isn't deep enough), some resonator and a little bit of lowpass

Would someone possibly know how to add a whistle under your voice in the custom voices? (e.g. the sound of like.. a work whistle alongside your voice when you talk)

I know the soundboard is an obvious choice but I'm slightly hoping I can do it through the voice

An example? I don't think I can give on directly as I haven't seen any cases of a voice like it.. But a way to explain would be with voices Such as the Crazy Clown with the "Craziness" effect under your voice?

(I know its just an echo, but I'm hoping I could possibly do something similar with a high pitched sound.. such as a whistle)

the closest thing i can think of, that's possible in voicemod, would be doing double pitch, turning the mix on voice 1 all the way to 0, then pitching the second all the way up.

then, on EQ, filtering the high frequency out some so it sounds like less of you talking at high pitch and more like a whistle
