you can get the app running on linux but the voice changer itself wont work because Voicemod uses a driver that isnt possible to get working on linux
were gonna have to wait until the voicemod devs release a native linux version or they find a replacement in case driver installation fails (which will always happen on linux)
to get the voicemod app itself running on linux you need to get a friend to send you the files or obtain the files through another way
There is No ETA for native voicemod on linux (sadly) so were just gonna have to wait

Just like any other program, we're adapting and making a version which is far more efficient to work on and update, make any changes in the background without needing a brand new version/update.
Just like DIscord. So expect V3 to become the only version of voicemod, along with it, will come more and more improvements over V2.
Yes the UI is different, but it offers more control now & importantly if people voice their #✍┃feedback correctly, we can improve it even more! Just need to voice it in the right place to make a change and now is the best time to do it.

It also lets you use multiple keys at the same time

Voice meter has a lot of potential with the right setup for clearing up vocals. If you need to reduce background noise you can use Nvidia broadcast
Broadcast might be for Nvidia gpus only. So if you don't have one then I don't know, but I'm almost 100% sure they're similar software for any GPU

So really this is a 60$ product if we add in pro 1 time payment and price of device.
I’m a Xbox player thought of getting this for fun. Downloaded the app just to hear all the voices and sounds decide if it’s worth it. As far as voices there’s so few free. Which sucks but it’s whatever but be nice to simply sample watch voice.
Right now it’s hard to justify the price of this product when I’m so unsure if its capabilities and what all voices I can do.

I can say, tis pretty good for all of 'em, you get some solid voices - and I dunno if you get the community voices without pro, I never actually checked.
Plus that one year of pro is pretty neat, you get that with the Key anyways, plus let's say you get the Voicemod app for the PC/Laptop or whatever, whatever you put onto the soundboards there (if the same account), they carry on over to the phone too and work perfectly.

30 or whatever it was for a lifetime deal seemed fair but it’s like let me at least know what I’m buying at least.
I could buy a month try it see if it’s worth it then cancel. But then I’m just spending more money on a product I’m unsure of which that part is hard to justify.
If the product comes with a free trial even heck a single day free trial that’s fine just long enough for me to pop on my phone and sample it then go ok worth it or not.

Imo the quest 3 mic is really good man.
What I do is go into voicemod settings, then advanced settings, turn on background noise reduction and set the noise gate to like -40db.
Then if you have pro the Voice Enhancer mic is really good.
If you have free, set the clean mic to have 100% bass, 80% treble and like 40% mids
It'll sound much better!
