Because the no-key system doesn't have anything to do with the key system at all, it's just the way purchases are handled now.

Have you tried logging out and back in? Using a different email? (Back then, emails used for purchase could differ from the ones used for the account)

If none of that works, we might need to link it back manually, all you'd need to do is send a ticket stating that your V2 wasn't automatically linked to your V3 installation, if possible providing proof of purchase.
