His Nickname was The Wonderdog, to me he was one the greatest players around and loved watching him play. I finally got to meet him during an Angels game back in 2002 when he was the on air TV personality and calling the TV games for Kcal 9 and Fox Sports West. It was a huge honor for me to finally meet him, he was just as cool to meet in person as he was getting to watch him play.
