does anyone know how to fix this delay? i have mic playback on and have never had delay due to voicemod. it just happened today after i moved

it used to be because of my focusrite audio interface, but i figured the fix for that and now it has none at all, every one of my mics, headset/ XRL mic are all effected by the delay

i tried all the stuff voicemod reccomended on the website, no fix at all.

it was working for a couple seconds after i kept installing and deleting the focusrite drives, but then the mic kept disconnecting and reconnecting now all the delay is back. even when the drivers for focusrite are not installed

pretty sure its voicemod issue related, would be nice if i can get support.

You add it to any of your Soundboards, then when you go to your soundboard it'll be there.

You can click and use it, same as in the discovery page it'll be at the bottom of your voices as a custom voice

Adding it to a soundboard is basically just saving it.

ok IDK if this is the right channel to post this in but I was streaming last night and one of my viewers hit a redeem where I change to a cutesy png tuber and use the AI Sakura (I think that's her name) voice, and it sparked a discussion on ethics, and someone even unfollowed me over it, and I gotta ask, where do the AI voices come from? Is there anything I can say to soothe my viewers? People get so angry over even fun joke uses of AI, it's not like I built a bot to talk to them and went to grab a beer.

If it's an AI voice from us, we pay voice actors to train their voice.

From there it's our technology which get improved and if anything the newer versions sound closer to your real voice and accent, so you have to really put in the work to voice act yourself. Our AI voice just enhances the final voice.

voicemod isnt scraping etc, which is wehre a lot of the ethics starts. voicemod are an extremely ethical company

Others like w-okada, unethically train their voice models since it's open source and we don't like that.

We would also never re-use their voice as contracted.

problem is with AI topics, a lot of people are funny about it even if it is ethical due to improper research etc. the main ethics with voice changers is pretending to be IRL people, voicemod WOULD NEVER do that, this is why there isnt and i doubt ever will be, an option to import ai models etc
