Mine does at least. I use sonar to fully EQ my microphone, set my noise gate to -50db + I need their noise reduction as it's pretty much on par with Nvidia broadcast (I have an AMD GPU). Also it's a mixer so all my volumes are perfect per program.

The mandetory update got triggered when my microphone got disabled

The updater is a little buggy. I was told to update or else, so clicked update. It downloads the update and the updater tells you to click to close VM.

So I click to close, VM closed and instantly restarted, telling me to update. So... I clicked update again and then the setup throws hands and complains I didn't close VM. The whole process falls over and you have to start again.

The second time I tried it, I manually closed VM after the update started downloading and it worked fine.

Try adding Delay with Time set to 2 to your attempts. Also, you might want to try messing around with the Mix of the different effects a little bit. Mix lets the other effects through, sort of reducing the power of an effect without messing with the other settings.
