That's odd, it usually sounds fine for me, it could have something to do with the quality of the microphone you're using, if it's a super high end mic then I would be confused and I would tell you to open a #1022084950155087892 forum, but if the quality is rather low on the mic then the AI may not be able interoperate what you're saying and therefor it comes out laggy.

V3 looks a lot cleaner tbf and helps keep things in their own categories.
Especially if you favourite things, they get kept in a neat folder away
And the quick access is just for your actual soundboards, so even more out the way in the app
Hopefully that's a good starting point when V3 is out to fully upgrade too, for now we'll keep working on it!
Oh and you can move each sound around now to order them ^

but most likely in the near or far future, they’ll probably hold onto your data in case you ever return to use voicemod again, maybe.
