TLDR you need to exclude voicemod from your output sounds, but they can still hear your mic + voicechanger and soundboard through your mic like normal.

I swear there's a setting in sound settings of pc that allows u to change which to be the default mic, I had same issue when I downloaded voicemod. Also voicemod makes it so that when application is open it will be counted as the default, but u can turn the prio thing on or off in their settings
