So you have voicemod uninstalled which removed the driver.

Make sure you have your actual mic and headphones setup in discord with voice isolation mode turned on

Uninstalling voicemod doesn't cause that issue, check your windows audio settings, make sure nothing is set to be monitored.

Voicemod only creates a virtual microphone.

You have to set what mic you are using in the app settings and what headphones you want to use to hear the in app sounds or voice.

Doesn't set it for the whole PC, it doesn't apply any processing on your mic or headphones.

It's only if you select in a game or discord the voicemod mic that it will use voicemod

In windows settings you should only be using the voicemod mic for your input.

Output should always be your headphones.

Is there any way to improve the noticeable latency voicemod adds to my mic? If I monitor my mic raw and from VM, it's fairly delayed. Not huge, but maybe 100-200ms.

And it being a virtual cable comes with added latency, so not good for monitoring

Virtual devices need about 60-100ms of latency I think so there's always somewhat of a delay even with the clean mic

What I do which helps, is go into the settings and then mixer mode, set the headset volume for voices down until it feels more comfortable to speak whilst listening.

It will help stumble less as it's not as loud

That's correct, there are no settings to control having the AI voice be turned off, so it shouldn't be your actual voice. Other than it is you really speaking, it will sound just like you because it's your voice but changed to be more AI with the filters. It's meant to be random
