uninstall fully, and then redownload the new version from the website.

It's an old bug that's been fixed with the new launcher, hope that helps!

make sure when you pin voicemod to the taskbar you do it by searching for voicemod in windows search and pinning it there, not by opening voicemod and pinning. Sometimes that breaks the auto updater.

We are working on an improvement to the noise reduction, for now if you scream a lot you may need to disable it and use the noise gate instead. Lower that until your background noise is gone but your voice still comes through.

That's unfortunate. I've already voiced my feedback a while ago. But I'll reiterate on it, I very much dislike how we are not able to use our own computer to locally use sounds. I really dislike having to use an online storage to reply on the program.

It has worked perfectly fine for the last 4 years and v3 feels like a really bad downgrade.

There's a 8 min soundboard upload limit for now in V3 and you can upload any sound you like below that limit.

The reason for not running them locally is that now they are cloud saved, you can use them anywhere if you end up changing PC or use the mobile app, without losing any data.

V2 was prone to corruption and lots kept losing their files if they were not regularly making exports/backups.

V3 fixed this issue, but as a result things must remain cloud saved. Maybe one day the limit will increase, I'm unsure.

For the majority, this decision is better. We had to focus on that first for V3, any other fixes will come later.

If it helps, Voicemod should always be on the end of the audio chain.

So you setup your real mic and headphones, in your mixer etc.

For example I use elgato wave, so I have my real mic setup in there. Then I use my processed audio in voicemod, then voicemod in games or discord.

It could be something simple, like your mic having monitoring on, so it's being picked up twice.

but if you can try to have your real mic > processed by fl > then add the fl mic into voicemod.

That way you avoid any duplicated audio, and only monitor the mic using voicemod's hear myself.

Honestly, one of the main reasons I upgraded to the Pro version was because this feature was expected to be available in the near future. I'm quite surprised that it hasn’t been implemented yet.

for your issue, might need to check in the windows audio settings to make sure your audio is not accidentally muted, it can happen with a windows update or if you moved from V2 to V3.

best to fully uninstall voicemod and redownload and install V3 again.

you connect your mic in the settings, and then after connecting your mic, you connect your headphones or whatever you listen to whatever you do so that you can hear yourself. you then select a voice, usually it will automatically turn on, but if the little power button is red, just hit that and it will not be red, meaning the voice is on, then you hit the ear button to hear yourself. To connect to discord and whatnot, VM is considered its own mic, so you'd go into the settings of whatever you're using VM for, go into the mic settings, and find the mic for VM
