We always recommend being on V3, it's cloud saved so will never happen again.

I already tried uninstalling voice mod and installing it again but it didn't fix it. I know my mic is working because I can use it in discord fine and also in voice mod when I use the mic monitoring I can hear myself and see the audio level go up in the settings section when I talk. It's just voice mod that is refusing to send audio anywhere and the recorder pro not working. what drivers should I reinstall? I tried to find voice mod specific driver at one point but couldn't find anything.

I’m having an issue where desktop/game audio records very quietly in Voicemod Recorder, even though all volumes are set to maximum. I’m using a Blue Yeti USB Microphone with my headphones plugged into the Yeti’s headphone jack, and I have Voicemod Mixer Mode enabled. In Windows, the master volume and all app volumes are set to 100%, and in ARC Raiders my audio settings are also maxed (Master 100%, Effects 100%, Dialogue 100%, Proximity Voice Chat 200%). My microphone records normally and is loud, but desktop audio (YouTube, game audio, and proximity chat) shows a very small waveform in the Voicemod recorder and plays back very quietly even when the audio was loud during recording. The Voicemod mixer “Sounds” channel barely moves compared to the mic channel. I have already verified Windows volume mixer settings, game audio settings, and Voicemod mixer levels, and the problem still occurs.

yeah all those are installed and have been since I built the computer, never had any issues with sound other then voice mod. Like I said it works fine then stops working suddenly (usually after voice mod decides to crash itself which seems to happen often), I can still hear my mic when playing in voice mod monitoring but not voice mod recorder and I can't output mic with voice mod selected in any programs. my mic without voicemod being used works fine, so it's obviously a voice mod issue and not driver issue.

Do these tweaks.
It is most likely due your Windows audio configuration settings or Windows Mixer. Reset Windows Mixer. (Also check that Voicemod is not muted there)

If you have Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer or/and Stereo Mix, disable them at Windows audio configuration.

Also try restart PC plug mic devices again and click the refresh icon on input and output in Voicemod.

Also check this.
In Windows settings.

Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
Click the arrow on the right, on your mic.

You should find your mic there, make sure it's not muted there by your system.

Also run Voicemod as administrator.
