Need some help, out of the blue my soundboard audio quality dropped off. I have been testing it and playing the sounds back through Discord sound test. It's distorted and comes in broken. Voicemod mic is my default input setting. I am using nova pro wireless with GG Sonar.

I was having this problem. I don't know why, but it solved it for me by disconnecting the microphone from the USB 3.0 port and connecting it to the USB 2.0 port.

Does anyone know a fix for the NVIDIA App not wanting to persistently use Voicemod as an Input Audio Device? It does so when switching to it, but after a pc restart I loose my input audio, probably since the NVIDIA App launches first, before Voicemod does, when booting. Any ideas/experience on that?

Since I would like Shadowplay and also normal Screen recording to pick up the improved mic quality through voicemod. The NVIDIA App is a buggy shitapp nonetheless, but maybe someone still has experience on it

Try logging out again and make sure you log into the correct account, sometimes it can log into a new one by mistake

Is this just when pressing the test mic button? There's a weird bug that makes it not work unless you press it on and off a few times.

In steelseries make sure you have your actual mic selected.

Then in voicemod, make sure you have the steelseries set as your mic.

Set voicemod in game as the mic.

That should be the correct audio flow and stop the robotic sound if it was initially setup wrong. If it still does it, you might need to contact support for them to check it.

Do these tweaks.
It is most likely due your Windows audio configuration settings or Windows Mixer. Reset Windows Mixer. (Also check that Voicemod is not muted there)

If you have Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer or/and Stereo Mix, disable them at Windows audio configuration.

Also try restart PC plug mic devices again and click the refresh icon on input and output in Voicemod.

Also check this.
In Windows settings.

Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
Click the arrow on the right, on your mic.

You should find your mic there, make sure it's not muted there by your system.

Also run Voicemod as administrator.

Well it's probably software issue and it needs update! Check if you have updated all Drivers for audio. If you already have updated them and it do it only when you using VoiceMod check your VoiceMod settings / in game settings and try to reinstall the app if the previous steps didn't help. Hope it helps!

Hello,

I think I can help you with that. Try to uninstall Voicemod and after uninstalling delete all of it's files. After that you will need to restart your PC and download it again. This helped people getting it to work.
So,
1.Uninstall VM (important)
2.Download the installer from our website
3.Run it

You will have to setup Voicemod from the begining
