I have, they told me that they requested a refund as well. Both Xsolla and Voicemod have not returned the money back to me.

If i can have it sent to me through other methods such as apple pay, zelle, or cash app I wouldnt mind but my concern is that it's been a month and a few weeks and nobody has taken real action. I sent about 10 emails and nobody has sent me my $43 back and it's ridiculous. Example: I reduce de background volume for, let's say, "trailer guy", but everytime I change voice, and come back to this one, the volume is back to default value. I thought it would put my sounds first in the results and sometimes it does but not all the time. I'll have to test it out some more. Perhaps if there was a little outline around my sounds liek a colored frame or something to make it stand out that would be helpful. I've been using voicemod since the early releases so I've seen the layout change a lot and this was my one big problem. Hopefully it works like you mentioned when I get home to test it again

The username thing is super helpful of it works that way, I never noticed. I was looking for like a partition / line separating them.
I've been running my D&D show and have been frustrated several times when I search for something quickly and it's a meme sound but I don't know it it's MY meme sound (and someone else's sound could be blown out gain or clipped at the wrong point etc).

Another thing is not being able to hover over the icon to read the full name. A lot of the file names taken from my computer all start with the same thing and it's tedious to rename all of them (and when I do I have to write them all with no spaces like Body.drop.wet.mud and even then that is too long and cuts cut off.

So maybe add a feature where hovering reveals the full name or simply let us have a slightly longer text string shown with the ability to make icons bigger or smaller.

I know we are working hard to bring out better options for the subscription to bring better value at least to try the voices.

We have also looked into different pricing, there always has to be a balance sadly to help cover business costs, of course a company also needs to profit to grow and bring out more voices for our pro users.

So hopefully in the future you'll see the value if we have different pricing options available.

If you go to your volume mixer by right-clicking the little audio button in your taskbar under devices, you can see all of your output choices.
Locate Line (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM)) and disable discord. This will stop your voice from being heard double.

Special cases: I have noticed that the first time I was fiddling with these settings that discord didn't pop-up. If that does happen, go to your discord and set Line (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM)) as your output device.

Valve's upcoming hardware - the Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and refreshed Steam Controller - all running SteamOS (Linux-based) - are slated for release in the first half of 2026 (despite some component shortages delaying exact timing and pricing). This should accelerate Linux adoption even more in handheld and living-room gaming.
I bought Voicemod about 1.5 years ago (lifetime license) and switched to Linux permanently around a year ago. I can't use it properly anymore and really miss it. Voicemod still has no native Linux support in 2026 - their roadmap mentions exploring it, but nothing concrete yet.
Linux lacks a true Voicemod equivalent: a user-friendly, low-latency real-time voice changer with high-quality effects (natural/funny/AI voices), integrated soundboard, easy Discord/TS/game chat compatibility, and a polished UI.
Current options fall short:

Lyrebird (open-source, but unmaintained and buggy on PipeWire),
Clownfish (basic system-wide effects),
Soundux (good soundboard, weak voice changer),
EasyEffects + LADSPA plugins (requires heavy tweaking, not beginner-friendly),
JACK/Car插件 setups (too complex for casual gamers/streamers).

None offer Voicemod's "one-click, 50+ voices + memes" simplicity for Discord gaming sessions.
Voicemod (or a similar polished app) could be a killer feature for Linux gamers - especially on Steam Deck and incoming Steam Machines. It's one of those small but frustrating barriers keeping some people from fully switching. Valve, community, devs - please prioritize this. With Linux gaming surging, a great voice tool would gain tons of users fast.

Yeah I know, but a lot of people are moving from microslops windows. When some famous Polish youtuber made an video about microslop bs I had 7 people that was reaching to me about it, what do I thing about that, and yo help them to make that switch.
