depending on what version of voicemod (V2 or V3) part of it is in the voicemod setting. you have to make sure it is linked to your mic and headset. once that is done in the discord, head to voice and video tab, and ensure that microphone (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device (WDM)) is selected in the input device dropdown only. leave the output device alone.

The only way at the moment: First you have to import any voice to your soundboard on PC. Once it is on your soundboard it will be visible on mobile.

• Uninstall Voicemod, select delete all Voicemod settings.
• Restart PC and reinstall the new version as administrator: https://flagship-versions.voicemod.net/1.5.3/VoicemodInstaller_1.5.3.exe
• Run Voicemod as administrator.

(Also unpin old Voicemod icons from Windows Taskbar if you have any)

Quit Voicemod and run it as administrator. You might have to do it couple times before it works. Also try restart PC.

Make sure that your firewall is not blocking the connection.

No not really. Just need to make sure that voicemod is what is being used as the input device. The only time you need to run as admin for the soundboard to work is if the program youre using is already running in admin mode like some games for example.

Go to the website and log out again, make sure it's logging into the correct one that shows you have pro: https://account.voicemod.net/#/user-account

Then just log out in the app, force close it, restart your PC and attempt to log back in.

It's all cloud saved so you won't lose anything.

Non transferable as license keys are tied to your account now.

If they really do not want it, then they may be able to contact support and request to change their account email address to yours. Maybe support can help transfer the code there instead.

Hey Voicemod Staff, i did install v3 and i miss one of the most important features off Voicemod: "Turn ON and OFF the Soundboard"

maybe with hotkey this time, like to stop all sounds or turn on and off voicechanger and backgroundsounds...

You can then go to the sounds part and mute it for you, green bar.

Do these tweaks.
It is most likely due your Windows audio configuration settings or Windows Mixer. Reset Windows Mixer. (Also check that Voicemod is not muted there)

If you have Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer or/and Stereo Mix, disable them at Windows audio configuration.

Also try restart PC plug mic devices again and click the refresh icon on input and output in Voicemod.

Also make sure you do not have V2 running in background process. It can cause Voicemod audio driver problems.

Still have problems?

Uninstall both versions.
Restart PC to get all Voicemod audio drivers deleted.

-Reinstall the new version as administrator: https://flagship-versions.voicemod.net/1.5.3/VoicemodInstaller_1.5.3.exe

• Run Voicemod as administrator.

(Also unpin old Voicemod icons from Windows Taskbar if you have any)

i remember back in 2018, the "punk" voice on voicemod would slowly degrade over time, so if you had it enabled for like an hour it would sound really strange

I don't want to be too negative, as I'm sure a lot of work went into the new version, but after poking around it a bit... I think I'm gonna have to stick with version 2 for as long as it's allowed... The UI is completely incomprehensible because it's so key-jangly in design.

I can understand it's quite alien at the moment because it's moved around a bit. But it may be best trying to learn it, V2 will be shut down in the future so the new version will be the one and only Voicemod app.

the biggest problem is, everything seems to be overly simplified, to the point of not being useful. Like in the voicelab I can't even find powerpitch anymore. There's like a dozen different versions of the bad regular pitch instead. (power pitch being the one from v2 that keeps a human voice. the other pitch adds a robotic grain)

In the voicelab all the older effects have been put into the Audio FX section on the far right of the list.

Power pitch is found in there.

Simplification helps more users use it, but we do have the advanced effects in there! The Audio FX section has it all from before

How do I go about using the Migration Tool? I know how to do it, its just the ability for me to Export Stopped working overall on V2. The name doesn't auto fill anymore, and it just says "Failed to Export".

To be honest, when it suggested to create a backup in the directions to put it into V3, I thought it was just a precaution and not something it takes from direct, so I deleted my old backup file to create a new one which allowed me to see the issue of making a Backup at all now.

The only way at the moment: First you have to import any voice to your soundboard on PC. Once it is on your soundboard it will be visible on mobile.

In future it is possible to add community voices inside of mobile app.
