Ngl Voicemod is the main piece of software holding me to Windows right now. (Yes I've tried compatibility layers but it's never played nice with that)

At this time, it's not a matter of anything holding us back other than it's just not something we have time to fit into our planned roadmap for the near future.

The aim is to get V3 to a finalised level, release on steam, push further on mobile.

Once V2 is sunset, then it will allow us more time to discuss linux and see if it's a worthy push. The number of users is our main concern with the time and resources it will take to develop, it has to be beneficial to all for it to work.

Hopefully it will happen though! We only pushed mac support as an effort for our investors, even though the amount of users is quite small.

I have a question; so ive been using vm pro for a lil over a year now with no issues. Saw vm3 came out so i downloaded it and gave it a try. Wasnt a huge fan that i couldnt find a simple way to transfer over all of my sounds (if someone has any pointer there that would be AMAZING) BUT fast forward to about two days ago i open my elgato stream deck and now its saying vm isnt running when i have the original app open, which is where all my sounds are... any assistance would be greatly appreciated

The transfer is still impossible to do until the official tool releases. There is no eta on on its release. As for the bug try uninstalling v3

Green lines are your volume, blue is the volume others will hear.

You can also lower the volume so it is not so loud for yourself if you still want to know if it went through.

(basically, go into that folder with CMD and run this command: ren *.dat *.wav

Once you have renamed them, drag&drop all the .wav files into your Voicemod soundboard. Only your files will be added. The errors you will get will be from ours that are encoded.

Get a shotgun mic or headset boom mic, so it is super focused on just your voice only, then have speakers placed facing away from you.

Should be decent irl, but there's always around 30-50ms of latency so it might throw you off when speaking.
