V2 can get corupt though and if you don't have a manual export, you can lose all your data.

V3 is cloud saved so not possible to lose data anymore

If you have V3 installed uninstall that

you might already have V2 installed still, so close voicemod and open V2.

I had previously logged out and back into my account several times, and I had uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice, but I had not done both at the same time. So I logged out and then uninstalled the software, restarted my pc, then logged back into my account, clicked to intall the app, then once it reinstalled, everything worked. Probably leave it default and focus on the highs to make it more crisp.

Also do not keep your mic too close to keyboard. Adjust mic input level lower.

I'm not staff but I was just looking at how to transfer your lifetime thing because of V3. You'll need to go looking for an old email from them that has your license key. You can't go over 0db, depending on your mic it might not also be possible to get any louder than the 200% slider, we have trash mic for that to boost the distortion but will still not be higher than around -3db in Voicemod to protect people's ears.

It may not be getting louder, but it will be sounding more and more distorted because you're hitting the limiter

Also sure you asked in here, but it's not a mods ability to help.

When I downloaded VM today I was wondering why my mic wasn't working, turns our I was being stupid and I just had the wrong mic selected (dunno why but now according to my laptop my headset mic is now external mic and isn't the headset mic I had it set as) but it's all good now

Could try going into your settings and then messing with the noise gate?

Maybe there's background noise going through your mic making the quality poor.

Just checked your DM. You need to use headphones when you use "hear myself" because otherwise your speakers are looping into your mic causing that noise.
