That would have been an AI voice also, you'll need to take a look at all the voices using the filters to find the one you like.

we update to be in line with the technology we have now, if it is an old technology voice, then it is most likely depreciated, updated to the new tech or renamed.

Sadly we're unable to keep old and new tech Voices in the app, it's hard to maintain them all if there're multiple variations.

In all honesty, its all trial and error. If I'm not mistaken you can copy a voice and edit from there.

Pick a voice you think is a good base to go off, go to soundlab and tweak settings accordingly to match your regarding voice

Close voicemod fully, unpin it from your taskbar.

Search in windows for voicemod, open it there, then when it launchs open it from your system tray and then pin it.

That'll fix it, for some reason opening it from the taskbar if it's pinned incorrectly opens the version saying it needs to update, which is not correct.

Try run Voicemod as administrator.

Do not use VPN.

Check that your internet connection is stable and fast enough to download the voice settings. Follow these steps:

Close Voicemod completely, from the system tray.

Go to VoiceData folder pressing Windows key + R and write the following text in the Run screen.

Then click on OK.

Delete all .dat files.
Open Voicemod and try again.

Simply close Voicemod v3, delete its folder (%LocalAppData%\VoicemodV3) and open it again. At that point, it will update you to latest version and ask you to login again.

Does anyone know how to fix these issues? I have a Macbook pro and a headset for gaming. When ever I play Roblox and use Voice mod, my voice sounds completely robotic to others and it messes up constantly. I also noticed that it delays when ever I speak and some of the word pronunciations don't sound good or human for that matter. Some words don't even come out of the Voice mods voice at all. Close voicemod fully, unpin it from your taskbar.

Search in windows for voicemod, open it there, then when it launchs open it from your system tray and then pin it.

That'll fix it, for some reason opening it from the taskbar if it's pinned incorrectly opens the version saying it needs to update, which is not correct.

Sadly V2 is old and not being updated so the voices being uploaded are bad, but will not be moved over to V3 servers.

We have discovered an issue in the latest Windows 11 updates relating to Variable Refresh Rate. This is being investigated and will be fixed soon!

Try disable this setting in windows to fix your Voicemod from Freezing/Crashing when playing games. (Restart your PC after)

Also idk if this is just a me issue but using voicemod v3 with VrChat has been a pain because the buttons do a bunch of things you can't just click a sound to play it you have to click it in a very specific spot

V2 has not had any updates for about a year now, the servers are also slowly shutting down and we're focusing fully on getting V3 right for everyone to move over too soon with all your custom voices and sounds ^^

Then it will all be stable, sorry for these issues during this time

V2 was really stable, but yeah, it's pretty bad now :D oops

Less servers = more connection issues, so it's failing to add soundboards.

Although it shouldn't do it everytime

I think we'll have our migration tool out this month (June) so this will no longer be an issue when everyone is on V3
