I am really disappointed in this app. I bought the pro version. Almost every time I try to use Voicemod it has an issue. Also, if I mute my mic, sometimes Voicemod crashes. What's the deal? This is supposed to be compatible with Discord, yet I have nothing but problems every time I use it. I stopped using Voicemod for months hoping the problem would be fixed. It has not.

This was happening on my last machine as well, with Windows 10. I don't understand why Voicemod is constantly worried about the default settings. I should be able to set it manually. Instead it asks me all the time if it should switch to a different source, especially when updating my video card drivers. Almost every time I get into VC on Discord, I have to go into the Voicemod settings and Discord settings to make sure I can be heard. It's an inconvenience, to say the least. I like the product, but I don't like the constant problems.

It does let you set it manually, when it pops up saying something switched at the bottom left you can tick "do nothing" and it will remember that.

Although it does rely on audio devices being there so if things are switching, like any other program it tends to switch to what is available.

Turning this off might help, that way you manually put it in discord also as the voicemod mic.

Like this? Note it's for the device, so if your audio is regularly disconnection that's something else and Voicemod is just doing it's job making sure you are able to select a new device

There are several limitations that prevent VM from working as a mobile voice changer and real-time soundboard in phone apps, mostly hardware and software difficulties

So, the mobile app only works as a companion to the PC app, a recorder on mobile, and as kind of a physical soundboard

At the moment there's no way to control shortcuts, but you can if you're using Steam VR have your Voicemod window up or docked in the world to control.

@misty cedar Just as a heads up in case someone else asks: If you had the api set up for the V2, it connects and seems to work the same as V3. Just need to ensure if all the names are the same, if you are using names (For example, 'Clean' was renamed to 'Clean Mic' in V3)

Got it, simple version is : It works. Just boot v3 and it will work fine.

True V3 has renamed some voices + getting more voices that are not in V2. Some V2 voices are not in V3 because of their old technology.

Anyway, V2 is getting closed this year.

For example: the reason behind of why OG Narrator voice is not in V3.

• Loading time: it has to load all skins
• Better alternative: The Narrator voices have higher quality, more expressive range and more optimized versions than OG.
