The official trackers don't have much drift + when they do drift you can just double tap the chest tracker to quickly reset it without needing to re-calibrate or anything.

I bought them ^^

The good thing is there's no occlusion and if you have the straps tight enough on good clothing they're rock solid and surprisingly feel low latency with some fancy software hacks in the advanced settings to predict the movement :D

I haven't ever tried 3.0's so can't compare, just happy to have gotten them more affordable for now

I think for VRChat you can still enjoy it without needing to move your head much since it's more of a social experience.

They also have a mode to let you play whilst lying down and then looking around with the controllers, basically just a 3D screen then

It's more so for Virtual desktop to leave it at 100% as you can control the resolution in the virtual desktop app. Not sure if your headset has a way to set the resolution? If not then use the steam vr slider to adjust it

This may also just be your PCs power so if you're already getting low fps it may not increase much

However, my setup for PCVR is very redneck imo.

• Secondhand Pico 4 connected via a 10M AMVR PC cable.
• An ASUS TUF Gaming F15 gaming laptop with RTX 2050 mobile and Intel-I5 11400H
• Only capable of 4GB of VRAM
• Upgraded to 32GB RAM (DDR4 Type)
• Play most games through Steam VR or through my 1TB external Hard drive. So to stop overheating.
• I normally play on standard or high definition depending on the wi-fi strength when I play.
• Only really play VRchat or Payday 2 VR. Did want to try fallout 4 VR but only if I could make Fallout London compatible.

If anyone has any advice on how I can improve my VR setup to be smoother or do anything to make it more accommodating for FBT. I would appreciate it.

Not verses the Pico 4

The pancake lenses and resolution is much better on the Pico 4 if they already have one. I went from a Quest 2 to a Pico 4 with much better clarity and it's a solid PCVR focused headset.

I would recommend a Quest 3 if they want to upgrade as that brings some extra advances in VR technology.

I use an app called XSOverlay, you can set the Voicemod window to show in your space without needing to open any menu's and can put it on your wrist! It's a paid app but has other features like an FPS monitor etc.

If you want to do it for free, just use the Steam VR menu, at the bottom there should be a + button, which will let you select the voicemod window then set it to be on your wrist in the same bottom menu!

One day I'd like to hope we have our own Steam VR overlay, where you can contol it all in a more VR friendly UI. But that's a long term plan of mine!
