We have plenty to share about Call of Duty: World Championship. In particular, Stage 2 will be going live on 22nd May - 4th June!

This tournament's second stage will feature the first CODM World Championship team stage. You read that right, this one is all about forming teams and playing ranked multiplayer matches together to try to progress through to Stage 2 into the Open Finals, Here are the main details:

Stage 2 will be live from 22nd May - 4th June!

Players will compete as Teams in up to thirty (30) Ranked Matches to earn Points, with amounts based on the player rank. The top 128 teams from each region with the highest number of points will qualify for Open Finals.

The top 8 teams from the Open Finals will play in a 4-week long, single round-robin tournament where each team will face every other team once. The top 4 teams from here will advance into the Challenge Finals.

The top 4 teams from the Challenge Season will be placed into a double-elimination bracket. The winner will be named the number one team in the region!

Applies only to the teams that have qualified to Stage 3 through Stage 2 in-game qualifiers. Any non-eligible registration attempts will be declined!

We have some info to share about Call of Duty: Mobile SnapDragon Pro Series Season 4. In particular, SPS Season 4 In-Game SNAPDRAGON MOBILE OPEN QUALIFIER will be going live on October 6th - October 19th!

This tournament's open qualifier tiers will feature the 2nd season of the Snapdragon Pro Series. You read that right, another tournament this one is all about forming teams and playing ranked multiplayer matches together to try to progress through tiers in the SnapDragon Mobile Masters here are the main tiers:

Open Qualifiers / Open Finals

• Your entry into the world of mobile esports

Challenge Season / Challenge Finals

• Play against the best in your region

Mobile Masters

• Champions from around the world face off

IN-GAME SNAPDRAGON MOBILE OPEN QUALIFIER - TEAM PLAY
October 6th - October 19th

• Players will compete as Teams in Ranked Matches to earn qualification points, with amounts based on player rank. The Top 128 teams from each region with the highest number of points will qualify for the Open Finals.

Team Natus have forfeited their place in the Open Finals, they'll be replaced in the Upper Bracket by Mont.

As a result SquidZ, who were supposed to face Mont, will be given a forfeit win and will move on in the Lower Bracket.

VusionZ have forfeited their place in the Open Finals, they'll be replaced by FrikSpec.

The 2025 World Championship is now LIVE in-game, accessible via the “Ranked Match” tab.

Players will be placed into either the “Open Leaderboard” or “Legendary Board” based on rank:

• Open Leaderboard: Rookie, Veteran, Elite, Pro, Master
• Legendary Board: Grand Master, Legendary

Divisions:

• Legendary Division: Operates as in previous World Championships, serving as a pathway to the Finals. Players compete at the highest level for a share of the 1,000,000 prize pool.

• Open Division: Progresses up to Stage 3, where players can compete for CP Prizes and FaceIt points. Stage 3 placements may qualify players for future Open-level tournaments.

How to Get Started:

1. Open Call of Duty: Mobile and register for the World Championship 2026 directly in-game.

World Championship Points System (WCPS)
Teams begin earning WCPS Points starting from Stage 2 based on their final placement. These are known as Stage 2 Starter Points and will carry forward into the Summer and Fall Splits. In the Legendary Division, teams can earn between 10 to 25 points depending on their ranking. Following Stage 2, there are two main Competition Periods:

• Summer Split
• Fall Split

Each Split features:

• 3 Open Qualifiers
• 1 Invitational Tournament (open to the Top 16 teams from the WCPS leaderboard)

Prize Pool:

• $5,000 for each Open Qualifier (6 total throughout the year)
• $35,000 for each Invitational Tournament (2 total throughout the year)

Stage 2 Starter Points (Legendary Division):

• Top 1-2: 25 Points
• Top 3-8: 20 Points
• Top 9-16: 15 Points
• Top 17-32: 12 Points
• Top 33-64: 10 Points

**WCPS Points after Stage 2:
**After Stage 2, teams can earn additional WCPS Points during the Summer and Fall Splits in two ways:

• Participation Points
• Placement Points

Placement Points for Open Qualifiers:

• 1st Place: 100 Points
• 2nd Place: 80 Points
• Top 3-4: 65 Points
• Top 5-8: 50 Points
• Top 9-16: 35 Points
• Top 17-32: 25 Points
• Top 33-64: 15 Points
• Top 65-128: 10 Points

Note: The Top 16 teams from all Open Qualifiers in that split will qualify for the Invitational Tournament.

Event Multipliers:
Not all tournaments award the same WCPS Points. Later events carry higher multipliers as the competition progresses.

• Summer Open Qualifier #1: 1.00x
• Summer Open Qualifier #2: 1.25x
• Summer Open Qualifier #3: 1.50x
• Points Major: 3.50x
• Fall Open Qualifier #1: 1.75x
• Fall Open Qualifier #2: 2.00x
• Fall Open Qualifier #3: 2.25x
• Regional Championship: 5.00x

Small Bracket Adjustment:
To prevent disproportionate point gains in events with low participation, the following bracket size multipliers will be applied:

• 64+ Teams: 1.00x
• 33-63 Teams: 0.85x
• 17-32 Teams: 0.70x
• 9-16 Teams: 0.60x
• 5-8 Teams: 0.55x
• 4 or fewer Teams: 0.50x

WCPS Points Formula:
WCPS Points = Placement Points × Event Multiplier × Small Bracket Adjustment

Stage 5 Slots Distribution:

Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship – Stage 5 Finals

Excited to announce the official format of the Call of Duty: Mobile Stage 5: World Championship Finals Presented By Sony!

Both events will be held online and broadcast on Call of Duty: Mobile YouTube and Twitch channels. Due to the change in format, They have added more teams to compete from each region! Both two-day tournaments will feature an all-new format of competition to the Call of Duty: Mobile competitive scene. Day 1 will feature a twelve-team round robin format to determine the top four teams that will move on to Day 2. Day 2 will feature a double elimination bracket to determine each Stage 5: World Championship Finals winner!

The team will be sharing more details about the event in the future, so make sure to keep an eye on that information. For now, please see all of the dates below and congratulations to each team who have made it to the finals!

**Stage 5: Western Finals: Dec 4 – Dec 5 **

• Regions: North America, LATAM & EU

Wanted to share the second Esports update within this Community Update #┊codm-news, this one centered on the Call of Duty: Mobile Esports Settings and the World Championship format.

The goal is to make the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 the best it has ever been! They plan to update and upgrade every stage of the tournament.

To keep the tournament fresh, they are making the following changes to the Esports Settings:

Replacing Domination with Control as the new third game mode in the Esports Pool

Rotating in Slums and Hacienda to the Esports Map Pool

Updating the Restrictions list in accordance with feedback

Applying a three-week cooldown restriction to all new content

Additionally, they are making the following changes to the formats of each Stage of the World Championship

Stages 1 and 2 will now provide more points to higher ranked players

Stages 3 and 4 will use a Best of Five format. Stage 5 will use a Best of Seven format and the Winner’s Bracket team will have a map advantage

Stages 4 and 5 will use a Swiss Group stage instead of Round Robin

They want to continue keeping Call of Duty: Mobile Esports fresh and fostering top-tier competition. We believe these changes to the Esports Settings and the format of the World Championship will further drive us in that direction.
