Don’t be put off by the accuracy and control, this gun is already very steady with nice narrow ADS spread. If you can use movement and hip fire correctly it will take out meta no problem including SMG. Don’t forget to wall bang 😈

Utilisation of hip fire as well as normal shooting is extremely underrated

Press both hip fire and normal fire when u spot an enemy all of a sudden ads speed don’t matter as much

Learnt that when people was spamming val and fennec and makes short work of them

Makes LMGs and guns like man o war and asm10 so much more viable

Add crouch + shoot technique to the above, and you will improve massively almost immediately

AS VALs 200mm barrel only effect velocity past 35m. A score of 5.5 is considered aight bsa. Now the base range on AS VAL is 20m (4stk range), and the prime BV is good till 20m. Considering those aspects, all you would really need to use this weapon properly is mobility to work well in CQC. With the mobility/recommended build, ur bsa score becomes manageable with its base range.

Now with a 200mm barrel build you get 20% damage range (+4m) which would make ur weapons base range change to 24m. Now the bullet speed increase is only effective past 35m as I've mentioned. Niether the range boost, nor the bsa is good enough for this. You're extending into 5stk range, and 5stk ttk is 305ms ttk. AS VAL is primarily a cqc rifle, and it is only meant to be used sub-20m

I personally find the DLQ more consistent though
